Teyze Oldum(!) / I Became An Aunt(!)
Hello friends, how are you? I am very good these days. Today I will tell you about going to see the baby of my friend who got married in Hatay last year.
On October 10th last year, my friend had a wedding in Hatay. It seemed a bit impossible for me to go at first because my father is a bit strict about these issues, but after I begged my father, "I will go to my aunts from there, please let me." Fortunately, he gave permission so that I had the opportunity to attend my friend's wedding thanks to my aunts living in Mersin.
My trip to Hatay was a legend for me because I missed my flight at the airport and had to wait at the airport for five hours. My goal was to go to Hatay early and see a little bit of Hatay, but unfortunately not everything goes as planned in life.
I landed in Hatay at around 07:00 in the evening, and my friend told me to get into one of the commercial taxis that take you wherever you want after paying a certain fee.
My commercial taxi adventure started here. After getting into the taxi, I told the name of the shopping center I was going to on the Iskenderun side. We went for a certain period of time, then my friend called me out of curiosity and asked me "Where are you?" I told him where I was, and it turned out that the name of the shopping center I was going to was also on the Antakya side, and the taxi driver started to take me to the Antakya side because he understood that place, and I thought we were going the right way because I didn't know the way. Halfway down the road, we turned back to Iskenderun. Finally I reached my friend.
The day after I arrived, my friend had a henna ceremony. The henna was in the village square. Only one song was played during the henna and they danced to that song for almost two hours. This was a bit strange for me. The day after the henna, we went to Adana for the wedding. On the way to Adana, the tires of the car exploded on the way to Adana and we waited for help on the side of the highway for about an hour. For four days, my friend and I traveled back and forth between Hatay and Adana, and then I went from Adana to Mersin. After staying in Mersin for about a month, I had to go back to attend my friend's engagement in Istanbul. I had the most adventurous journey of my life last year, but besides the adventure, I can say that I was scared during that taxi journey.
And now I went to see their baby who was born three months ago. Since I don't have a brother or sister, I am happy to be an aunt or auntie to my friends' children.

Gözünüz aydın olsun öyleyse. Teyze, anne yarısıdır derler. Sizinkine yarım mı desek çeyrek mi desek bilemedim. 😀
