#pic1000 Christmas edition
It’s the last workday and now we have 4 days off. The weekend and the two days of Christmas. It’s been a wild week with all the arrangements and things you do ( read need to do ) for Christmas. And I haven’t even done all the grocery shopping that will be tomorrow’s challenge!
When I saw the picture for the freewrite contest ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ it reminded me of the many people that struggle these days. Sadness for being alone but also struggles with life’s costs. The sorrow behind other front doors. People who are sad. People that cannot make dreams true.
Yes , we all know the situations from the neighbourhood or in school, where you see people having hard times.
The picture of the Christmas decorations and ornaments remind me of the things you don’t need and can donate to someone who doesn’t have money to decorate. I donated my red treeballs and ornaments because we have a multi color ornaments tree now. The mother that I gave it to is from my youngest class who was separated just a few months ago and ornaments are not the things you think about when you go through a divorce.
And you can only decorate one tree right!
So this picture reminds me that kindness can be in a box with small ornaments to make another person’s Christmas special.
Donate, or go to the thrift store and buy some ornaments and give to people who can use some light these days before and on coming Christmas days.
