MY SON WON ! #comic
I couldn’t be prouder !
My son is in an English school and all has to be done in English. Part of the school year is a few presentations on a stage and also have to make art projects.
This was the first invite we got as parents.
The school is raising worldly students with a wide interest in what is happening g in our society. With that promise the first evening presentation was about Egypt. They went to the museum. They had history , math, geography and art come together to make an evening full of all they made and presented to us. We went with all the kids and hubby and me.
The kids had to make a PowerPoint.
They also had to make a English comic strip and they had to talk in English infront of us , two classes full of families, for 5 minutes each.
All was recorded and the mentor was Ofcourse with them on stage.
Mine did great , but I am bias Ofcourse!
The comic in the middle is the one we made.
I say we because I helped a bit gathering images and ideas but he did all the work.
Its a lot the students have to do. It’s a strain to get them to ask a lot from theirselves and get the best from themselves.
There were so many great comics
BUT
My son his comic got first prize.
Voted best by the other students ,
And voted best among the votes casted by the parents.
I AM SOOOOOOO PROUD!

The school and opportunities here in Holland are amazing. There are many different courses and when the opportunity to do a English school come he wanted to make that jump and try. He is growing op way to fast but I am very proud he does so well. I was sobbing in the audience hahahha

It’s great they now have English Spanish French and German , Dutch is a course aswell Ofcourse but with 11 different ones it’s a bit much some days but school is there for a better future
My German is not too bad and I'm trying to learn French. I was no good with languages at school, but I'll try to catch up a bit.

These kinds of activities helps the students to boost their intellectual intelligence
For sure it helps but they have to do so many things that it is sometimes a bit much but we like that the school is so diverse
