No Fish

Hi Friends,

As a follow up to yesterday’s post, while in Monterey I snuck out for an hour of morning fishing.

I was throwing a grub as I walked along the surf, but there was no takers in the surf. I moved to a nearby pier and threw the grub along the pillions around the kelp patches, but again, no takers.

Seemed to be a pretty quiet area - I guess the fish have better places to be.

No fish this time, but always good to wet a line.

Hmmmm. Seems like fishes found some sanctuary to avoid being fish.. hehe.

What fish do you usually catch

You never know with the ocean… was hoping for surf perch, corbina or calico bass… nothing around tho!

It was beautiful day. You can try again. A lot of fish are found in a calm environment. @brian.rrr
