What's up people, how are you? welcome to a new post, early this morning I was finishing my first fan art of Helios Matriarch is a very interesting card, but mostly because of its art, it's something different and new. It has a different and intimidating touch again it will be a character I will bring in the next months.

Que pasa gente, como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, esta madrugada estuve terminando mi primer fan art de Helios Matriarch es una carta muy interesante, pero sobre todo por su arte, es algo diferente y nuevo. Tiene un toque diferente e intimidante nuevamente será un personaje que traiga en los próximos meses.

Once I have the sketch ready, I start with the painting of the skin, first placing the base, which is usually a neutral color, to follow with a strong shading and some glows in the right spots of the body, I'm not very used to paint abdomens. I'm learning and I think it's quite noticeable the progress I've had, I hope to bring you some practice or something similar in these next few days.

Una vez tengo listo el boceto, comienzo con el pintado de la piel, primero colocando la base, que suele ser un color neutro, para seguir con un sombreado fuerte y algunos brillos en los puntos correctos del cuerpo, no estoy muy acostumbrado a pintar abdómenes. Estoy aprendiendo y creo que se nota bastante el progreso que he tenido, espero traerles alguna practica o algo parecido en estos próximos días.

Then I went on to paint the armor, I really liked his shoulder pads so I decided not to touch them, but I did change the armor for something more daring and challenging, maybe it's not the most useful armor in the world but damn, it sure looks cool, I especially like those kind of weird designs on them, it's always a different and spontaneous result. I really liked the color combination of the clothes, it's just, that Vinotinto of the clothes fascinates me, it makes too interesting contrast with the gold of the body.

Después me pase a pintar la armadura, me gustaron mucho sus hombreras así que decidí no tocarlas, pero si le cambie la armadura por algo mas atrevido y desafiante, tal vez no sea la armadura mas útil del mundo pero joder, si que se ve bien, me gustan especialmente ese tipo de diseños raros en ellos, siempre es un resultado distinto y espontaneo. Me gusto mucho la combinación de colores de la ropa, es simplemente, ese Vinotinto de la ropa me fascina, hace un contraste demasiado interesante con el oro del cuerpo.

It took me quite some time to do his crown, it's not easy, it has a lot of little oval details, just like his staff, both were difficult, I needed several layers to get these character designs correctly painted. After placing the fire I had to start working on the strong lights and shadows of the illustration, the change here is always gigantic, I also liked the background, it's as if he was slowly descending from the sky with an intimidating and dangerous aura.

Me tomo bastante tiempo hacer su corona, no es fácil, tiene muchos detallitos pequeños y ovalados, igual que su báculo, ambos fueron difíciles, necesite varias capas para lograr pintar correctamente estos diseños del personaje. Después de colocar el fuego me toco comenzar a realizar el trabajo de luces y sombras fuertes de la ilustración, el cambio aquí siempre es gigantesco, también me gusto el fondo, es como si estuviera bajando lentamente del cielo con un aura intimidante y peligrosa.
