What's up people, how are you? welcome to a new post, I spent a couple of days working on this illustration, I had some time without putting some interesting resources in the background, the truth is that I enjoyed the whole process, I'm super exhausted but happy to have achieved my goal, it's exactly as I visualized it in my mind and I'm proud for that, I leave you with the process.

Que pasa gente, como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, estuve un par de días trabajando en esta ilustración, tenia tiempo sin poner unos recursos interesantes en el fondo, la verdad es que disfrute de todo el proceso, estoy super agotado pero contento de haber logrado mi objetivo, es exactamente como lo visualice en mi mente y estoy orgulloso por eso, los dejo con el proceso.

As you can see this illustration suffered a lot of changes, from the canvas, the expression, the colors, everything received with a necessary change, something I really liked is the way I made the gold of the armor, thanks to @oscariart for a tutorial he provided me ; ), the art of this card for some reason or another reminded me a lot of mortal kombat, specifically Scorpion, may be because of the armor the thing is that I decided to make my fan art taking into account a similar story to Scorpion, where Cabalist is turned into a demon and tries to escape from the underworld, a dead mage is not of great help but what if this mage managed to escape back from death? something like that I wanted to represent in my illustration, the lore is short but with the necessary imagination you can make something very interesting.

Como pueden ver esta ilustración sufrió muchísimos cambios, desde desde el lienzo, la expresión, los colores, todo recibió con un cambio necesario, algo que me gusto muchísimo es la forma en la que realice el oro de la armadura, gracias a @oscariart por un tutorial que me proporciono ;), el arte de esta carta por alguna u otra razón me recordaba mucho a mortal kombat, específicamente a Scorpion, puede ser por la armadura la cosa es que decidí realizar mi fan art teniendo en cuenta una historia similar a la de Scorpion, donde Cabalist es convertido en un demonio y trata de escapar del inframundo, un mago muerto no es de gran ayuda pero y si este mago lograra escapar regresar de la muerte? algo así quise representar en mi ilustración, el lore es corto pero con la imaginación necesaria se puede hacer algo muy interesante.

After finishing the painting of the main body I started with the bodies of the skeletons in the background, with a hand in perspective trying to prevent Cabalist to escape from the abyss, honestly it was complicated to make the sketch, I'm not used to make skeletons in this way, at most I did some skulls but little else, in turn I had some problems because of the size of the canvas, I had made it too big, therefore anything I did ended up consuming all the ram and the program basically did not let me do anything, so I had to close and open the program again and again, until I decided to lower the dimensions about 2000 pixels, the fun here was to start placing the lights, for example the face of Cabalist for most of the process was incomplete, like the skeletons, place those small spotlights give a more dark, mysterious and frightening.

Después de terminar el pintado del cuerpo principal empecé con el los cuerpos de los esqueletos del fondo, con una mano en perspectiva intentando impedir que Cabalist lograra escapar del abismo, honestamente fue complicado realizar el boceto, no estoy acostumbrado a realizar esqueletos de esta forma, como máximo hice algunas calaveras pero poco mas, a su vez tenia algunos problemas por el tamaño del lienzo, lo había hecho demasiado grande, por ende cualquier cosa que hacia me terminaba consumiendo toda la ram y el programa básicamente no me dejaba hacer nada, por lo que tenia que cerrar y abrir el programa una y otra vez, hasta que decidí bajar las dimensiones unos 2000 pixeles, lo divertido aquí fue comenzar a colocar las luces, por ejemplo la cara de Cabalist durante casi todo el proceso estaba incompleta, igual los esqueletos, colocarle esos pequeños focos de luz dan un aspecto mas tenebroso, misterioso y atemorizante.

The last details I was placing were some strands of hair, to give them a more realistic look, many touches of light by the body of the skeletons and the main body, besides painting the background, sadly Krita closed unexpectedly and I lost part of the lighting, so I had to redo it, despite all the problems I'm quite happy with the result.

Los últimos detalles que fui colocando fueron algunos mechones de cabello, para darles un aspecto mas realista, muchos toques de luz por el cuerpo de los esqueletos y del cuerpo principal, ademas de pintar el fondo, tristemente Krita se cerro de forma inesperada y perdí parte de la iluminación, así que tuve que volver hacerla, a pesar de todos los problemas estoy bastante contento con el resultado.
