What's up people, how are you? welcome to a new post, I hope you like it, today I was working on a semi realistic drawing, I had been painting in black and white for a few days, I decided to do this one in color, I leave you with the process.

Que pasa gente, como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, espero les guste, hoy estuve trabajando en un dibujo semi realista, llevaba algunos dias pintando en blanco y negro, decidi hacer este en color, los dejo con el proceso

Once I have the sketch ready I start to place the base colors of the face and in this case some strong flashy colors in the eyes to make slightly different the painting to the usual, then gently I was blurring little by little the skin with dark and bright colors to give depth and volume in certain areas.

Una vez tengo listo el boceto comienzo a colocar los colores base de la cara y en este caso unos colores fuertes llamativos en los ojos para hacer ligeramente diferente el pintado a lo usual, luego suavemente fui difuminando poco a poco la piel con colores oscuros y brillantes para dar profundidad y volumen en ciertas zonas.

Once I had already placed the base of the skin I began to paint the hair with a dark base to start adding light colors and grays including yellows in the form of locks which I then went over certain areas with dark colors to give the appearance similar to the shadow and also to loose strands of hair.

Una vez ya habia colocado la base de la piel comence a pintar el pelo con una base oscura para comenzar a añadir colores claros y grises incluyendo amarillos en forma de mechones los cuales luego repase ciertas zonas con colores oscuros para dar el aspecto similar a la sombra y tambien a mechones de pelo sueltos.

After finishing the hair I gave some highlights on the face as well as adding some extra shadows on the face and painting a simple blurred background.

Despues de terminar el pelo di unos toques de luz en la cara ademas de añadir algunas sombras extras en la cara y pintar un fondo simple difuminado.
