Taiwan president's Hawaii trip draws Chinese anger

"After arriving in Hawaii, Lai said war would have "no winners" and that "we have to fight together to prevent war".
China's foreign ministry said it "strongly condemns" the visit and that it had "lodged serious protests with the US"."

--- Of course China condemns the prevention of war. Because it is planning one.

China denounces Lithuania’s expulsion of its diplomats

"Lithuania announced on Friday that it had declared “three members of the non-accredited staff” at China’s diplomatic mission persona non grata, ordering them to leave within a week.
The Lithuanian foreign ministry did not provide further details, citing only the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and other international laws.
The Baltic nation also stated that the presence of other Chinese diplomatic staff in Lithuania would be decided "in the near future".
The spokesperson for China's foreign ministry accused Lithuania of "again taken detrimental action that further exacerbates the relations"."

--- But, but, but ... they recently told us that Lithuania was trying to get back into China's good grace. Were they lying?

US unveils fresh export curbs targeting China's chip sector

"The latest US rules include a restriction of sales to 140 companies, including Chinese chip firms Piotech and SiCarrier, without additional permission."

--- Which only means that a bunch of new companies will pop up in China. Which of course are not on the list...

Germany's Baerbock warns China over Russia support

"The German foreign minister urged Chinese authorities to "engage constructively" with the European Union over tariffs levied on Chinese electric vehicles.
Germany is one of few European countries to oppose the European Union's tariffs on Chinese EVs, fearing that it could impact the market for German cars in China.
"A level playing field, fair competition and reciprocal market conditions are essential," Baerbock said, according to her spokesperson.
According to a readout from China's Foreign Ministry, Wang said that "the EU's imposition of high anti-subsidy tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles violates the principles of fair competition and free trade.""

--- Constructive talks, in diplomatic parley. This means that they didn't fight. They just talked past each other.

China Skips Politburo Readout as Investors Await Stimulus

"Investors are betting Beijing will use both meetings to unlock more forceful measures to bolster growth as the world’s No. 2 economy braces for the return of Donald Trump."

--- Now Trump has to serve as the great hope for the great stimulus. Grmph...

"Investors who remember last year’s conference might temper their expectations. That huddle — held from Dec. 11-12 — amounted to a letdown for those seeking signs of greater stimulus, with top leaders instead pledging to make industrial policy the main economic priority."

--- Will they be disappointed again? Oh, the suspense...

Caixin PMI: China’s November factory growth hits five-month high, beats forecasts

"China’s manufacturing activity continued to expand among smaller manufacturers in November, signaling that the country’s recent stimulus efforts have already helped to lift certain sectors of its ailing economy, according to a private survey released Monday.
[...] This private gauge comes after the official PMI data, released Saturday, also indicated that manufacturing activity in the country expanded to 50.3 in November from 50.1 in the previous month."

--- But of course the 'stimulus' works great. The question is now how they would justify a really great stimulus if the little stimulus already works so well (or how certain investment companies will try to convince us that the great stimulus is really still to come).

China new home prices grow slightly faster in October, private survey shows

"The average price across 100 cities edged up 0.29 per cent, compared with the previous month's 0.14 per cent, according to data released by property researcher China Index Academy."

--- AKA 'just another Chinese propaganda institute'.

--- Übersetzung: 'Was Deutschland sagt, interessiert China einen Dreck.'

--- Wer nicht lernen will, muß fühlen.
