This certainly would be the second interesting news I'm getting today, it's just so amazing that the good ones are out there and are really putting a show.
Earlier today, Jay Freeman, a white-hat hacker descovered and informed Optimism, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution about a critical bug in its code which would have led to an exploit.

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase also had a white-hat hacker informed the exchange about a vulnerability in its trading system.
The hacker by name "Tree of Alpha" informed Coinbase of the development in which CEO and Co-Founder of Coinbase responded to Tree of Alpha thanking him in a tweet.

Coinbase was hacked last year around March and May in which the hacker exploited about 6,000 customers of Coinbase Global Inc.
The hacker took advantage of Coinbase two factor authentication (2FA).

Tree of Alpha as his username on tweeter goes really showed willingness in his tweet, I was extremely intrigued to read I'm submitting a hacker 1 report but I'm afraid this can't wait.
Actually, I didn't know of these kind of hackers that work independently and still inform companies of breach in their systems, well, they are called white-hat hackers.

When the news got to coinbase team, Coinbase support made a tweet of disablling retail advance trading due to technical reasons.

At the end of last year, November precisely, Coinbase launched the advanced trading functionality on Coinbase.com to some of its of customers.
This is where the whole vulnerability occured in the new trading system.
The vulnerability has consequently been resolved as Tree of Alpha confirmed in a tweet.

The cryptosphere still has a large set of people who still want the best for all.
On this note, it is only advisable for all to be aware of potentials of losses that could go around and take personal precautions regardless of the platforms that we engage with.

Thanks for visiting my blog, till next time.

Actually a lot of white hats do work for corporations. But regardless of whether or not they are paid, they deserve our thanks 🙌

Yeah, they do deserve or thanks.
I doubt if the payment is of interest to them, nevertheless, it's all worthwhile.
