Today, I'm going to show some special moments from my God of War play in this post where I'll talk about us discovering the Summit and also finding Mimir whose severed head will by travel companion from now on.

God of War ²⁰¹⁸ was developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and released worldwide for windows at January 14 2022. It's an action-adventure video game.

We discovered the Area named The Summit which was so close to us now. Atreus looked so excited discovering this area and started running towards it Kratos stopped him and used one his arrows to repair his quiver for the time being as broken quiver could slow him down in fights.

When we we about to move forward, these monsters came out of the ground and together the father-son gave them hell.

Then we started climbing the rocks and heard someone talking from above and we noticed these peoples there. A stranger was conversing another one about his last visit that managed to loosen the other ones tongue.

It was Baldur talking and recognizing the voice, Atreus was saying that Kratos said he killed that man. Another man was talking as if there were sons of Thor. They were asking the other hidden man/Mimir about the whereabouts of Kratos.

Baldur was asking to help each other and Mimir was saying that his (Baldur's) father won't let him go and won't let Baldur kill him which means Baldur had nothing to offer.

I reached there fast but those peoples left the place before I went there.

Found Mimir stuck/tied inside that tree and Kratos understood that this man may know about him so he asked Atreus to look if there's any sign of the others.

Mimir was saying he can answer every questions so Kratos asked why does the son of Odin was hunting them and Mimir replied that he had some gaps in his knowledge as Odin had him imprisoned there for 109 winters.

When Atreus said they were looking for the highest peak in all realms to spread his mothers ashes as she wished to, Mimir replied that they've come to the wrong place as the highest peak in all realms is in Jotunheim and not here in Midgard.

Then Mimir showed Jotunheim, through the last known bridge to the place in all the realms and added that when the giants destroyed all other bridges to their realm, they locked this one up with a secret rune.

Mimir was the only living person who could help them going to their desired location so he suggested Kratos to cut off his head as Odin made sure no weapons, not even Thor's hammer could free his body from the bonds with the tree.

He added that they don't need his body but they needed to find someone who can reanimate his head using the old magic. Kratos talked about the witch of the woods but they're not sure if she could do it so Mimir could be dead. But the man himself volunteered to it as he was being tortured everyday.

When Mimir was suggesting Kratos to let Atreus know about his true nature in case they fail to resurrect him, Kratos cut his head and took it with them and we just finished the chapter "Inside the Mountain".

From now on, this head is our travel companion, I don't know for how long but we gotta meet the witch of the wood first to resurrect Mimir or what remains of him I mean the head.

@dnagameroficial should be happy knowing this.

Before leaving the place, I looked around the beautiful landscapes to capture some photos and I didn't forget to capture a photo of that tree which was not holding the body of Mimir.

Then I found this mystique gateaway that took us to Brok's Shop in Lake of Nine from where we'll have our journey towards the witch of the wood rowing a boat.

I'll try to talk about more special moments soon from my play in God of War or maybe from other games.
