The Hydroelectric Dam.
In my last post, I talked about the sad part of losing both Henry and Sam and then we set foot on a new chapter and this time we're on Tommy's Dam. After reaching Jackson County, we continued our journey to get to the radio tower and we reached a Hydroelectric Dam on our way.
After the chaos, the beginning of this chapter was calming me down with the beautiful ambience around so I started exploring around a little first before moving forward.
There was this river where I tried to jump but the game couldn't. I really wish this game would be full open world and I could go anywhere I wish to. Btw, I noticed the big bridge that I thought I'd have to reach next.
I was going towards the bridge an I suddenly noticed this vehicle and a skeleton beside it. And there I found this cool handgun with a scope. So, I just got myself another handgun, cool.
After getting the handgun, I noticed the route towards the bridge was not okay, in face it collapsed down long back so I had to look for an alternative way and I found one that did lead towards the river.
So I got to walk on the river after all and btw I just noticed its a dead river as it didn't have the water it meant to have probably because of the dam that was not full functional and was releasing less water than the river needed to be alive.
I noticed another car below the bridge and there was a skeleton as well. I bet that dude met an accident when the outbreak happened and he died there and no one was there to even bury him so he became a skeleton there.
At last, we reached the dam, the Hydroelectric Dam. It looked like nice and now Joel had to tell Ellie about how they'd use these dam to produce electricity and the kid didn't want to believe it.
There was this room where I barged in after opening the door using a shiv and I found some good loot in there.
I found this wheel that rotated something over there which would be connected to the other half but we needed to interact with another wheel on the other side and that's our way towards there.
I jumped on the water and I tried to get up there but Joel can't do it when he's on the water. I was thinking how hard it could be to get up there.
As Joel mentioned he'd look for something to get Ellie to the other side, I understood I'd have to look for a wood or something so after looking around, I started diving.
I found this wooden platform stuck in a wrecked bus underwater that I had to get unstuck and it floated after that. So, we just found a way to get Ellie to help me. Team Work ✌️.
We'll check what happens next in another post.

Peace.
This chapter feels filled with peacefulness after all the losses and chaos you've been through. Loved the screenshots.

The underwater captures looks cool though they're very few. I hope you'll find the brother soon. @tipu curate 8

Thanks for the compliment. As this is the gaming photography community, I try to focus mostly on the photographic angles.
