Escaping from Liberty Gardens.

(Edited)

I'm sad to say this is the last post about this game. I enjoyed every part of the game and now I'll have to wait for the second installment to get released for PC though I don't know if I can play that one with my current PC specs as I tried God of War Ragnarök and didn't have a chance to try it.

So, let's end the story of the Last of Us Part I.

After getting back to Joel in the other time, Ellie was grabbed back to her time with Riley when they were escaping from Liberty Gardens, from the monsters that were chasing them.

We were going for that door but there were infected on the other side so Riley had to shut it as fast as she could.

Then we lifted up this shutter that was too heavy to let go at once so Riley kept it up when I looked for something to hold it up when she gets to this side but the infected followed us there as well.

Ellie shot another door open and we kept running to escape the place when the infected were behind us and suddenly one of them pulled Ellie's leg when she was about to get through a hole. I had to kick him hard there and escaped.

Then I noticed another one got Riley and was trying to eat her alive so I ran and saved her by stabbing the infected. Riley became quite wild there when she was stabbing that one.

We kept running up the stairs, towards the scaffolding as Riley said that's our way out but there were more infected on our way so we had to cut through another path.

When we reached that spot, there were infected ahead of us and also behind of us so we had to jump sideway and kept running towards an open window.

The infected were unstoppable so we kept running as fast as we could and we almost escaped the place safely.

Riley even went up to safety but when I was climbing up there, the platform shook and the girl fell on the ground.

There came this infected who reminded me of Train to Busan as there was a character that looked similar to this monster. When I was hardly holding him up, Riley came over and saved me shooting the monster.

Then another infected jumped on Riley and tried to kill her but I didn't let it happen. I started stabbing the infected and then Riley slit her throat.

When we were done taking care of all the infected that were behind us, Ellie noticed she got bitten and then Riley showed she also got bitten.

Ellie started stitching up the wound of Joel on the other side. The girl never did anything like this before but she was confident that she could do it.

On the other hand, Ellie was breaking things around knowing she'll turn soon when Riley became quiet. They were confused about what to do now from two options where one was shooting themselves before they turn and the other one was just waiting it out and they voted for the last one.

So in that way, Ellie survived as she was immune to the virus but Riley turned and Ellie had to end her.

And on this side, Ellie was leaving that mall carrying Joel on a stretcher kinda thing on the back of the horse after stitching his wound up and the concept came to and ending after that.

We'll check what happens next in another post and that'd be the end of the concept.

Oh! Hopefully later you can enjoy the second part or get ready to upgrade your PC and be sure you will be able to play it. It happened to me like you, playing a game and not knowing if I could play the next one with my PC and it's a very bad feeling.

Always finish a game, even more if it has caught us so much, it leaves a big emptiness.

I totally get that now. It's frustrating when you love a game but can't jump into the sequel right away and I'm passing that situation now.
