Hello friends, happy day! I hope you are feeling great and that you had a nice weekend. As for me, I'm feeling pretty good, I had a pretty quiet weekend but full of very nice company. It turns out that a few days ago my mother-in-law arrived for a visit, so we took the opportunity to make some plans and visit some places, among them, a restaurant that we love because its Arabic food is one of the best in the city.

The restaurant is called Beirut and is located in the northern part of the city, something I love about this place is that as a starter they give you a salad and a basket of Arabic bread with a garlic sauce that is really delicious, that day we took the opportunity to invite a friend we have in common which we love very much, It happened to be his first time at the place so our recommendation was to order a mini mixed plate which brings a bit of all those delicacies like almond rice with ground beef and chicken, kibbe, stuffed vine leaves, some chickpea hummus, stuffed cabbage rolls, among others.

My mother-in-law and I ordered the same option, since the dish is quite complete, it is perfect to share with another person, what I like and enjoy the most about this dish are the stuffed vine leaves and the rice, I just love it. As an accompaniment I decided on a frappe lemonade, which was very tasty. In general, I liked the dish very much, this is the second time I ordered it and I really fell in love with its taste even more than the first time; the different flavors, preparations and presentations is something that really caught my attention.

Without a doubt, visiting this restaurant is something we love to do, the food is delicious and the service is simply charming. In the end it was a very fun night, we ended up laughing a lot and telling some anecdotes, so well, if you are in the city of Barranquilla and want to try Arabic food I highly recommend this place. Hola amigos, feliz día! Espero que se encuentren super bien y que hayan tenido un lindo fin de semana. Por mi parte, me encuentro bastante bien, tuve un fin de semana bastante tranquilo pero lleno de muy linda compañía. Resulta que hace unos días llego mi suegra de visita por lo que aprovechamos para armar algunos planes y visitar algunos lugares, entre esos, un restaurante que nos encanta ya que su comida árabe es una de las mejores de la ciudad.

El restaurante se llama Beirut y queda ubicado en la zona norte de la ciudad, algo que me encanta de este lugar es que como entrada te regalan una ensalada y una canasta de pan árabe junto a una salsa de ajo que es realmente deliciosa, ese día aprovechamos de invitar a un amigo que tenemos en común el cual queremos mucho, resulta que era su primera vez en el lugar por lo que nuestra recomendación fue que pidiera un plato mini mixto el cual trae un poco de todas esas delicias como el arroz de almendras con carne molida y pollo, el kibbe, hojas de parra rellenas, un poco de hummus de garbanzos, rollitos de repollo rellenos entre otros.

Entre mi suegra y yo pedimos la misma opción, ya que el platillo es bastante completo por lo que simplemente es perfecto para compartir con otra persona, lo que más me gusta y disfruto de este platillo son las hojitas de parra rellenas y el arroz, simplemente me encanta. Como acompañante me decidí por una limonada natural tipo frappe que estuvo muy rica. En general, el platillo me gustó bastante, es la segunda vez que lo pido y realmente quedé más enamorada que la primera vez de su sabor; el tema de los diferentes sabores, preparaciones y presentaciones es algo que me atrapó bastante.

Sin duda, visitar este restaurante es algo que nos encanta hacer, la comida es deliciosa y la atención simplemente encantadora. Al final fue una noche muy divertida, terminamos riéndonos bastante y contando algunas anecdotas, así que bueno, si están en la ciudad de Barranquilla y desean probar comida árabe les super recomiendo este lugar.
