Warming Up Your Heart

Hello sunshine!

These are the words I wish I can utter as I wake up and open the windows and door in the morning.

We have been experiencing a weeklong of rain and haven't seen the sun shining brightly this week. I miss the sun.

Scrolling through my gallery, I found photos of one of my favorite subjects in nature that is the sun. I have photos of it from different time of the day. Whenever I see the sun shining beautifully blasting hues into the horizon, I would never miss a thing and take a shot.

I don't have good photography skills and my camera is just a simple phone camera but it's the beautiful sun that's doing the job. It's beauty is already photography worthy and you'll just have to find a good angle to make your photography better.

Here are some of my Sun photos. Now that I am missing the sun, I just stare at these photos admiring its beauty and warmth and I like to share it with you in case you miss it too.

The Sunrise

The sun rises in the east. As it rises up from a wonderful sleep behind the mountains, it's rays peep through the dense vegetation in the backyard and says hello! When it shines through the trees it creates a blast of sun rays with different hues like violet, blue, pink, yellow and more colors that warms the surroundings. For me, the warmth of the sunrise is the best. It wakes up the sleepy cells in and energizes it ready for the day.

The Afternoon Sun

The sun is hotter and brighter at noon until around three o'clock in the afternoon. But during the time I took this photo, it was "uwan, init, pista sa langit", which translates to " rain and shine, it's fiesta in the heavens. An expression we used to describe an alternating sun and rain during the day or when the rain pours while the sun is shining brightly.

When the sun appeared from a a dark cloud, it shined brightly. I took this photo.

Taken during a cloudy sky but the sun's rays were able to penetrate through and created this thin beam of light with circular lavender hue when I took a shot in this angle. The sun has it's magical way of showing itself.

The Sunset

For me, the most magical moment of the day is the spectacular view of the sun setting on the western sea. It will always be my favorite.

As the sun sets, it transforms its color to gold and turns the sky into a magical colors of orange yellow, pink, gray or sometimes red.

As I watch this glorious spectacle, feelings of nostalgia, joy, and peace churn within me.

This sunset I caught as I was walking home. I was lucky to witness it as it slowly hides in between these trees. Quite different from the usual photos I have of a sunset over the sea. Somebody could actually mistaken this as sunrise rather than sunset.

The golden sun over the western sea settling down is priceless to see. Never will will I get tired of admiring it's beauty. It's beauty is eternaly ethereal.

Just right on that spot is a fishing boat that makes a dramatic silhouitte. Sunset to them means it's time to go fishing, giving them hope for an abundant catch over the course of the night.

Another breathtaking sunset captured. The power of photography is that you are able to freeze that one perfect moment. It defies the ever changing time.
