QOTW #9.2: "If there is a God why is there so much suffering in the world?"

Hello and welcome to my page. I am @blesy. This is my entry to the question of the week challenge. Kindly follow me as i share my view on the topic which states that "If there is a God why is there so much suffering in the world?"

It is no news that the world is presently witnessing a suffering state at the moment ranging from the pandemic, human trafficking and economic melt down of many countries of the world today and so on and so forth. Even for the fact that we have a God over us, we've all failed woefully in approaching issues by taking the right steps that pleases God because "the self mechanism" had taken root in the mindset of mankind, so we fail to acknowledge the owner of all things but rather attribute glory to our strength and wisdom.

That we're suffering doesn't necessarily mean God is heartless that He couldn't know what we're passing through at the moment but because we failed to take the rightful path that gives us access to approach Him diligently. Below are possible reasons why there's much suffering in the world today;

1. Lack of Love: We can only pretend to love ourselves but not to God. If you love your neighbor there will be no reason to harm him/her, there will be peace and harmony and the world will be made easy for us all. Suffering, illnesses and lack of job will be on hult. God can only play His part by bringing someone your way at a set time in life but it's left for you to utilize the moment positively. Lack of Love is a breakage of God's commandment which is punishable by suffering we see in today's world.

2. Sin: This is going adamant or against God will. It is also the act of not following God's commandment. The main reason things are falling apart is due to sin. Sin might come in form of pride, disobedience, uncleanliness, lasciviousness, hatred, idolatry, adultery, fornication etc. When the ways of a man does not please God, He shuts the door favour upon such a person and this extends to the world at large. God is holy and cannot behold sin, so when we dwell in sin we're unknowingly giving room to the devil to take leadership of our life and destiny. If the people within a nation or the world can turn from their evil ways and humble themselves in fasting and prayer, the world will definitely be a better place and the land will also be healed.

3. Causes: It is a pity that nations have been caused by God from time immemorial and this has hampered the freedom and progress of many people living in such country. At times when One man bridges God's commandment, a whole nation suffers it in return. There's always a need to ask God for mercy through daily prayers and supplications in order to reverse or remove such a cause and succeed in live.

I Hope I've been able to share my thought on why is there so much suffering in the world despite the fact that God is still on the throne ruling over the affairs of mankind. This is my entry to #QOTW Challenge an initiative brought forward by @ecotrain.
