Well they might be kids but they see what you do , they watch what you do and imbibe them , so as parents you should learn to be a great source of positive reflection on your kids, you should lead by example , you should ensure that you always practice what you preach to them, for example if you are preaching to them that they should avoid lying then you as a parent should stop lying to them or lying at their presence or anywhere , you cannot be telling them to be a honest person yet they see you the parents showing dishonesty in whatever you are doing.

Be a great mirror for your child so that when they look at you they can see great reflections on their lives , so that they can see your positive impact on them , so that they will learn positive things from you , so that they will always represent you in a positive way at wherever they find themselves and you will become proud of them..

I am writing this because I realized that there are still many parents who do not practice what they teach to their kids , they tell their kids a certain thing but they the parents do otherwise , they teach their kids the essence of love yet they the parents are not showing love to others..
