After a long time without publishing, due to personal inconveniences, today I want to share with you photographs of my family outing to the Pinar Zoo, Caracas - Venezuela.

Después de un buen tiempo sin publicar, debido a inconvenientes personales, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes fotografías de mi paseo familiar al zoológico Pinar, Caracas - Venezuela.

We hadn't been to this zoo for a long time, almost 11 years, since the last time we went, my eldest daughter was 2 years old and she is currently almost 13 years old (she turns in June). The walk was unplanned, since we went looking for a spare store for my mother's fridge in the Center of Caracas and then on the way back there was a long queue on the road and we had to turn aside so that it was the road to the zoo and then we took advantage of the fact that we were there.

Teníamos tiempo sin ir a este zoológico, casi 11 años, ya que la última vez que fuimos, mi hija mayor tenía 2 años y actualmente tiene casi 13 años (los cumple en junio). El paseo fue sin planificar, ya que fuimos buscando una tienda de repuesto para la nevera de mi mamá en el Centro de Caracas y luego de regreso había mucha cola en la vía y tuvimos que desviarnos de manera que era la vía para el zoológico y entonces aprovechamos que estábamos por ahí.

My youngest daughter enjoyed it because she had never been there and she really likes animals so it was a great day for her... exact words from her hahaha.

Mi hija pequeña lo disfrutó porque ella nunca había ido y le gustan mucho los animales así que para ella fue un día fenomenal... palabras textuales de ella jajaja.

The first thing we found when we arrived was the contact area, an area where we spent a lot of time since my little Cami did not want to leave there, she wanted to feed and touch all the animals. That area had sheep, goats, horses, and llama.

Lo primero que nos encontramos al llegar fue el área de contacto, área en el que pasamos mucho tiempo ya que mi pequeña Cami no quería irse de allí, quería alimentar y tocar a todos los animales. Esa área tenía ovejas, cabras, caballos y llama.

At first Cami was afraid of touching the animals, then when she saw that everyone was touching them, she was encouraged. and it was hard to get her out of there.

Al principio a Cami le daba temor tocar a los animales, luego al ver que todos los tocaban, ella se animó. y fue difícil sacarla de allí.

After the contact zone you have to walk quite a bit to find more animals, the design of the zoo is good for people who like to jog, it does not look like the other more common parks/zoos in Caracas, where there is grass for the family They can have a picnic.

Después de la zona de contacto hay que caminar bastante para encontrar más animales, el diseño del zoológico está bueno para las personas que les gusta trotar, no se parece a los otros parques/zoológicos más comunes de Caracas, donde hay grama para que las familiar puedan hacer picnic.

There is a butterfly area that we wanted to enter since my kathe-art loves them but it was under maintenance. When we went 11 years ago, it was also undergoing maintenance, so I don't know if that area has ever been open to the public. We enjoyed the walk until we reached an area where there were animals.

Hay una zona de mariposas al que queríamos entrar ya que a mi kathe-art le encantan pero estaba en mantenimiento. Cuando fuimos hace 11 años, también estaba en mantenimiento, así que no sé si esa área algún día se ha ha abierto al público. Disfrutamos de la caminería hasta llegar nuevamente a una zona donde habían animales.

Later we saw these animals, which I had only seen on television, I didn't think these animals existed here in Venezuela, they are known as LEMUR. I like their fur but it was too far away and I couldn't focus on them well, this photo is with all the zoom of my phone so it didn't look very good. I wanted to take a photo of them from the front and with good resolution, at least I had the opportunity to see them in person.

Más adelante vimos a estos animales, que solo habìa visto en televisión, no pensé que estos animales existieran acá en Venezuela, se les conoce como LEMUR. Me gusta su pelaje pero estaba muy lejos y no pude enfocarlos bien, esta foto es con todo el zoom de mi teléfono así que no quedo muy buena. Quería tomarles una foto de frente y con buena resolución, al menos tuve la oportunidad de verlos en persona.

In that same cage, there were many morrocoy, I had never seen so many together. they all crowded towards where we were because they thought we were going to give them food.

En esa misma jaula, había muchos morrocoy, nunca había visto tanto juntos. todos se aglomeraron hacia donde estábamos nosotros porque pensaban que les íbamos a dar comida.

Then we found the ostriches that were eating at the time. My little daughter likes ostriches, she says she wants to have one one day...the innocence of children.

Luego nos encontramos a las avestruces que estaban comiendo en ese momento. A mi hija pequeña le gustan las avestruces, ella dice que quiere tener uno algún día... la inocencia de los niños.

On the other side of the ostriches, there was this cow with her son, it was a very beautiful scene because she licked him from time to time, even animal mothers are tender with their babies.

Del otro lado de las avestruces, estaba esta vaca con su hijo, fue una escena muy bonita porque ella lo lamia de vez en cuando, incluso las madres animales son tiernas con sus bebés.

There we took a break because my mom was tired from walking so much. There were some seats where we stayed for a while and we took advantage of hydrating ourselves.

Allí nos tomamos un descanso porque mi mamá estaba cansada de tanto caminar. Habían unos asientos donde estuvimos un rato y aprovechamos de hidratarnos.

So far this first part of my visit to the El Pinar zoo, Caracas Venezuela.
