Plants in Our Garden
Hello everyone. I want to talk to you about the plants in our garden. I visited my mom today and had a wonderful day with the kids. We grow tomatoes, peppers, grapes and many other fruits and vegetables in my mom's garden. I took some photos to share these beauties with you.
Let's start with tomatoes. Some of you may not know this but these things that look like buried buckets are actually obtained by burying the top parts of the buckets in the soil. By doing this we ensure that the soil remains moist during watering.
My mom does everything on her own. It's her hobby. She doesn't allow me to help because she really loves doing this. Look at how well the peppers have grown and how healthy they look.
We grow different types of tomatoes in our garden. We call the small grapeshaped ones Cherry tomatoes. They are also delicious.
Let's take a look at the cucumbers. They have grown so much. I don't know the name of the blue things but we use them to keep snails away.We sprinkle them around the cucumbers so that the snails don't eat the leaves.
The plants are growing a bit slower this year because the weather has been a bit cold. The temperature has started to rise recently. It can still be cool in the evenings and mornings and people are still wearing their jackets while walking around.
Here we have strawberries growing under the plum tree.
These flowers are also part of our garden. I forgot their names, but my mom planted all of them. We spend time here during the summer, it's her hobby and passion. We set up folding tables here and have barbecues together. We even celebrate birthdays here.
Our grapes are also growing nicely here.
My mom usually opens an umbrella here and there are sun loungers under the shade or on the grass. It's a wonderful place to relax or sunbathe. My dad and I come here rest or work on something. It's really a special place because weeds cannot enter here.
This massive apple tree is also part of our garden. Its trunk is really thick and sturdy. We think it will fall every year because it has started to rot and has holes. But it still stands tall, around 50 years old maybe even more.
That's how our garden looks my friends. Everything is neat and beautiful.
These are our neighboring summer houses. There are people you can go out and chat with here. It gets crowded especially on Sundays. Many people gather here to barbecue, relax and sunbathe. Since I came early no one is here yet. Everything looks tidy and beautiful.
That's it my friends. Until the next post, take care.
I see all the lush plants. but nothing is bearing fruit yet. hopefully fruitful.
I agree, my friend. Seeing the plants turning green is a nice start. The process of bearing fruit can sometimes take time, but I hope we will soon start seeing their fruits.
