Wow… we have not encountered ticks on our walks in the woods. Maybe we are too far North here in Canada. Where do you find them ? On the underside of the puppies ? On your boots ? I will look more carefully on our next walk. Our neighbour contracted Lyme from Ticks in Southern Ontario and has suffered for years… no cure ???

Find them ALL OVER. Arms, back, legs, head. Most of them I'm able to flick off before they latch. Antibiotics work initially with Lyme but it remains in your system forever. If you don't catch it early it can cause serious problems
Ok … I will keep a close watch for them and maybe wait until it snows to go back into the forest.
