When Alt Season A Question On Many Minds

A question on many minds and for sure the people here on the $HIVE blockchain is just when the heck is Altcoin season getting here? Every time we see a major bull market push for bitcoin it's often followed by a massive rally on the alt coins.

Now to be fair we have see some meme coins and other alts rally to some crazy levels but many of those are smaller market caps where it doesn't take all that much for a drastic boom in price. What we are after here is for all altcoins to boom. This is where you don't have to be a smart investor because pretty much no matter what you held in the last two years will increase in price.

At the moment of writing this we have seen the price of the entire market cap rise by over 7% in the last 24 hours and bitcoin holding a solid 7.7% of that showing that the alts are bleeding while bitcoin yet again rallies.

This is often what you see between bitcoin and the alts and why the alt game is a hard road compared to bitcoin but often yields far higher earnings.

When bitcoin is going up you can almost always count on alts to either bleed or hardly move. Alts don't seem to really move unless one of two factors take place.

Factor 1 - Bitcoin increases and continues to increase day after day setting all new highs. Naturally because many alts are tied to bitcoin they start to see their prices increase. But this only normally happens when the price of bitcoin keeps going up for a number of days.

Factor 2 - Bitcoin flatlines and doesn't really come out of a steady pattern. We saw this just recently with bitcoin simply rising and falling quickly in a very volatile nature for about 6 days. What happened then is money started to flow into the alts as bitcoin stagnated and people wanted to search for the next big mega project.

What's pretty wild is it doesn't matter how much people realize this but they always seem to buy and Foma when we are at all time highs and never when their is blood in the streets. Remember when Bitcoin was only $16,000 - $18,000 about a year and a half ago. At the time it was scary that bitcoin would only keep falling to many people and it was now a failed project. Fast forward to today and well you would have made a solid play if you would have bought just 1 bitcoin and most likely replaced a full years worth of working if not more for many people.

The market cap has just been exploding over the last 3 months. At a 3.6 trillion dollar market cap we would have doubled it.

So when altcoin season?

Well we have seen some areas explode as well such as AI and a few other sectors. So to say the alt coins season isn't here I feel is a little off but with thousands of options now it can be hard to either stay ahead and stay relevant and I in particular think that's a current issue with hive. It's falling in terms of there's more flash in the pan elsewhere and hive just continues to fall by the way side. It's something I believe core devs or at least the top 20 witnesses should be aware of or those with major stake in the game. Things need to change and we need some flash otherwise the light will continue to dim here on Hive.

I hate to break it to ya but I feel like altcoin season has been here for a little while now. As long as BTC continues to either track higher or hold a steady pattern without falling to far I believe most alts will increase.

However and I say a big HOWEVER If a blockchain is not being marketed, promoted and built on I have a strong feeling that blockchain is going to really struggle to find any solid footing this bull market.
