Ads Are Nice But Swaps Are To!
As things heat up in the crypto world and LeoFinance and hive start to rebound and get more popular there are a few things I'm personally hoping for or at least have been considered.
Currently the LeoFinance ecosystem has two defi programs CubDeFi and PolyCub These platforms see little action currently and a good portion of it now comes from the Hive integration into it.
The new UI shouldn't be far away. It's now been 5 weeks since it was announced to have gone into closed Alpha testing so I would hope to expect to start seeing it soon. That being said I haven't seen it myself but my hopes are that the team will incorporate Cub and Polycub into the mix.
Ad Revenue
As much as everyone in the crypto space and especially on hive wants to keep complaining about ads (which I'll never under stand) when ads are done in a smart non spammy way it can yield a massive income boost to the business. By adding this into LEO we as LEO token holders when you think about it almost own a part of it (of course it's not that way for legal reasons but you get my point) Ad revenue that fuels token growth and value is a powerful baseline for any business and yes I would say it's something a majority of layer 2 tokens lack in the social space.
Swap Fees
Swap fees are another huge revenue income machine. With new people jumping on to LeoThreads when the new UI comes out there's going to be a flood of new people that have Hive and LEO in their wallets. Most likely it's going to be pretty new to them. However most would have already used or heard of Polygon or Binance. By having a swap interact on the new UI for users such as in the wallet area we could see people selling out of Hive, HBD or LEO across these two DeFi platforms and with that collection fees for those providing liquidity to the platform.
For me it seems like a logical step in the progression of the One App mindset and to grow revenue.
Author Monetization
This was a cool feature I thought also might provide some value. I'm not sure how many would actully use it as I've seen features like this before on other platforms and honestly hardly no one uses it. It sounds great in theory but in practice it's normally a massive under performer. It's still a good option to have however I hope not too much effort is going into it because I really have a feeling it wont be a big driving factor.
What are you thoughts on adding a front end UI for swaps with CUBDeFi and PolyCub into the new UI wallets?
Imagine earning LEO, Hive and HBD from threads, seeing that in your account and then being able to swap it out for Polygon or Binance right from within LeoFinance.

I think a UI that has all of that would be really great and also quite helpful for new users. Maybe in future iterations but I don't expect the first version of the new UI to have most of the things mentioned above. I'm also not against ads. I think people are just stuck in how traditional ads are overdone by big corporations. It's a good business model that could generate revenue to fuel other aspects of the project.
Then consider the newbies and those that haven't been investing on Cub to jump on the opportunity seeing that it's easier to swap from the UI frontend with ease.

I don't know why users always complain about ads because personally I don't have any problem with ad as long as it is place perfectly and non-annoying way. Ads will surely effect the LEO token in positive way which is good for economy.
