Hello lovely people.

This is another beautiful day out here with me having great time with my sewing machine, the weather is cold with a little rain fall, I decided to stay indoor, one of the way I overcome boredom is to get busy with my sewing machine, this has really helped me so much.

I made a small hand bag for my niece last month without a zipper, it was just something simple for her to put her Bible to church, it never occurred to me that she will need a card wallet for the bag, not until she asked if she could get one since the bag doesn't have a zipper and she knew I can obviously get it done for here, so today, I made use of the opportunity I have to make a small card wallet to her with same color as the bag I made for her.

This is another simple card wallet, if you've been going through my post, I have different types of card wallet made for myself and friends, but I found this very simple, easy and not complicated to make, this can be done with just a small piece of fabric and lining with pressing button, it has a small handle that one can hold or fix to the side of a bag.

Let me take you through the cutting and sewing process.

From the main fabric I cut out 8 x 4.5" it was placed on the lining to cut out same shape.

On the main fabric, I made a little curve on the tip for the flip cover, it was placed on the lining and sewn on both sides and the curve edge leave the opposite side to the curve edge open.

It was turned inside out through the opening, after which the opening was folded in and top stitched on.

I took one of my card to fold in the fabric to know where to sew on.

I cut out a piece of 8 x 2" from the left over then I folded it and sew it in between the folded edge of the wallet while I sew round from one end to another.

Finally, I fixed a pressing button on the the flip cover and the other side as well to make the cover clip.

This is the final outcome with my cards in it just to see how it will look like.

I hope you like the simple and beautiful outcome of the card wallet I made for my niece for her hand bag with matching color, this will help to keep her cards safe when using the bag for other occasions.

I'm sure she will, especially as it's a matching color with the bag I made for her.

What a beautiful card holder, your niece will be happy to receive it, she is lucky to have an aunt who pampers her and pleases her with nice gifts.

Greetings!
