Greetings to you from where you are reading from, I hope you are doing great, it's a beautiful day out here and I'm having a nice time with my creativity, I always try to create something nice and beautiful from pieces of fabric and sometimes I make use of old fabric to be transformed into simple and useful project, this has really helped me to reduce my pieces of fabric, this project are given out to people as gift just to put a smile on their faces in my simple way.

Today, I will be sharing with you my recent design of a double color purse with 2 space for phone and cash, it is made from 2 different colors of fabrics with a pressing button fixed to it to give it a unique and beautiful outcome, this purse was made for my friend on her specification and I love the beautiful outcome.

Let's get started with the cutting and sewing process

I measured and cut out 14 x 8" from one of the fabric with lining and interfacing, the interfacing was ironed to the main fabric

It was folded into two at the top and it was curved to the middle

The lining was placed on it on the right side and sewn round leaving an opening where it can be turned inside out.

On the other color of fabric, I measured and cut out 12 x 5" with lining and interfacing, the interfacing was ironed on it as well.

The excess were trimmed off, it was turned inside out and top stitched round

On the curved piece, I placed the other piece on it and sew on both sides and the upper part just as seen below.

The excess was folded in and sewn at the tip on both sides.

It was folded upward and the excess by the side was sewn to both sides.

I used my hand needle and thread to attach a pressing button to the middle of the purse to make it clip.

This is the 2 space for phone and cash, successfully achieved.

It was clipped together and this is the final outcome.
