Hello everyone, my dear friends. I hope you are not sick during this period. You know, winter months... These days, I see a lot of people sneezing around me. I wouldn't say that I love winter as much as I used to. When I say old, I mean when I was 8-12 years old. At that age, winter for me meant having fun in the snow until late hours. We would choose a location with our friends, pour water there in the evening, and wait for it to freeze for the next day. The only purpose is to skate there for hours. 😃 We used to have fun there from morning to evening before going home with my friends from the neighborhood. When I came home in the evening, I would watch the snow fall to the ground in front of the street lamp lights. At that moment, when I was informed that the schools were closed due to heavy snowfall, I could not sit still and was looking forward to the morning. During this period, if homework was done in the evenings, my brother and I would start making alternative suggestions to each other to pass the time. We generally decided on video games.

Herkese merhaba sayın arkadaşlarım. Umarım bu dönemde hasta değilsinizdir. Malum kış ayları... Bu aralar çevremde çok fazla hapşıran insan görüyorum. Kış mevsimini çok sevdiğimi söylemem, tabi eskisi kadar. Eskisi dediğim de yaşımın 8-12 olduğu dönemler. O yaşlarda kış demek benim için karda geç saatlere kadar eğlenmek demekti. Arkadaşlar ile bir mevki seçip akşamdan oraya su döker ve bir sonraki gün için buzlanmasını beklerdik. Tek amaç orada saatlerce kaymak. 😃 Mahalleden arkadaşlarım ile sabahtan akşama kadar eve gitmeden orada eğlenirdik. Akşam eve gelince karın sokak lambası ışıkları önünden yere düşmesini izlerdim. Tam o esnada okulların yoğun kar yağışı sebebiyle tatil edildi bilgisi gelince, yerimde duramazdım ve sabahın olmasını dört gözle beklerdim. Bu dönemde akşamları eğer ödevler yapıldıysa zaman geçirmek için kardeşim ile bir birimize alternatif önerilerde bulunmaya başlardık. Genelde video oyunlarda karar kılıyorduk.

I can say that it was the best team game of its time. In-game strategic decision making, role distribution in the face of obstacles and much more. We generally compared the rival characters in the game to the people around us. The end of the level that I have never forgotten is the blue house-like building that appears at the end of the Jungle map. I've always compared this place to our neighbor's house. Because their house was blue inside and out. It's an interesting association. We used to play the game so many times that we knew very well the obstacle we would encounter and the timing of the opponent. We had memorized it to that extent. Even so, we would still make mistakes. Hey, those days.

Bu videoda gördüğünüz oyun çocukken kardeşim @bilgin70 ile birlikte en çok tercih ettiğimizden birisiydi. CONTRA oyununun en sevdiğimiz yönü iki kişiye aynı anda oynama imkanı vermesi. Döneminin en iyi takım oyunu diyebilirim. Oyun içi stratejik karar verme, engeller karşısında rol dağılımı ve daha neler neler. Oyun içinde bulunan rakip karakterleri genel olarak çevremizde bulunan insanlara benzetirdik. Hiç unutmadığım bölüm sonu ise Jungle haritasının sonunda çıkan mavi renkli eve benzeyen yapı. Burayı her zaman komşumuzun evine benzetmişimdir. Çünkü onların evinin içi dışı maviydi. İlginç bir çağrışım işte. Oyunu o kadar çok oynardık ki, karşımıza çıkacak engel ve rakibin zamanlamasını çok iyi bilirdik. O derece ezberlemiştik. Buna rağmen hala hatalar yapardık. Hey gidi günler hey.

One day, while I was going to work by public transportation, it started to rain. While watching the rain, I remembered my old winter days. I either read e-books or play mobile games while traveling. At that moment, I turned off the phone, put it in my pocket and started watching outside. At that moment, CONTRA came to my mind. I immediately found the game and downloaded it. It was difficult to play from the phone. My fingers had a hard time getting used to it. But after a few games, I got to the level of playing well again. I just stared at the screen, smiling. I rekindled the spark from the past and made the fire bigger. At that moment I wanted to turn back time. There's nothing to do... You have to live every moment to the fullest, right? Toplu taşıma ile işe giderken bir gün yağmur yağmaya başladı. Yağmuru izlerken aklıma eski kış günlerim geldi. Ben yolculuk süresinde ya e kitap okurum yada mobil oyunlar oynarım. O an telefonu kapatıp cebime koydum ve dışarıyı izlemeye başladım. O an aklıma CONTRA geldi. Hemen oyunu bulup indirdim. Telefondan oynamak çık zordu. Parmaklarım zor alıştı.
