Kuyu (TakTak) Kebab

Hello everybody. Last week, I was chatting about food with my colleague. Later, the subject of specially prepared meals was opened. My friend told Tire about a special dish that can only be eaten early in the morning. When I heard the name of Taktak kebab, my curiosity increased. After talking a little more about the food with my friend, we made a family plan to go to this famous kebab place. I called my friend who lives in Tire. I was going to ask about places to eat. He told me that only the place called Babaoğlu was open on Monday. However, he warned us to go to Tire before 10 am. Because by that hour, all kebabs and soups were running out. That's why we set out at an hour that can be considered early for us.

Herkese merhaba. Geçtiğimiz haftalarda iş arkadaşımla birlikte yemek konusunda muhabbet ediyorduk. Daha sonra özel olarak yapılan yemeklerden konu açıldı. Arkadaşım Tire'ye özel ve sadece sabah erken saatlerde yenebilen bir yemekten bahsetti. Taktak kebabının ismini duyduğumda merakım iyice artmıştı. Arkadaşımla biraz daha yemekler üzerine konuştuktan sonra ailecek bu meşhur kebapçıya gitmek için plan yaptık. Tire'de ikamet eden arkadaşımı aradım. Yemek yiyebileceğimiz mekanları soracaktım. Bana pazartesi günü sadece Babaoğlu isimli mekanın açık olduğunu söyledi. Ancak saat sabah 10 olmadan Tire'ye gitmemiz konusunda bizi uyardı. Çünkü o saate kadar tüm kebap ve çorba tükeniyormuş. Bu yüzden bizim için erken sayılabilecek bir saatte yola koyulduk.

It was dark as it was around 07:00 when we set out. There was also enough fog on the roads to block our view. It is necessary to be very careful when driving in these weather conditions. After driving about 50 kilometers, we entered the town. When we came to the kebab shop, the weather was bright and the foggy air in the city was a little more dispersed. When we came to the front of the restaurant, I was quite surprised to see the meat hanging. The business was a little small. They immediately took us to a table for eight. We all ordered one portion. Rice soup came first. This soup was made from water dripping from lamb meat cooked in a well. It was really delicious. Due to the cold weather, we finished the soups immediately. Kebabs were served afterwards. Meat was very tender. It was literally falling apart in the mouth. ☺️ So we concluded that it is as delicious as it is famous. Portion fee is 100 TL. The price was very affordable. The place was a bit shabby and neglected. But the customer was not missing even for a second in the workplace. I can't eat ovine meat, but it was so good that I didn't even feel it. 😂

Yola çıktığımız saat 07:00 gibi olduğundan hava karanlıktı. Ayrıca yollarda görüş açımızı kapatacak kadar sis vardı. Bu havalarda araba kullanırken çok dikkatli olmak gerekli. Yaklaşık 50 kilometre yol gittikten sonra ilçeye giriş yaptık. Kebapçıya geldiğimizde hava aydınlanmış ve şehirin içindeki sisli hava biraz daha dağılmıştı. Restoranın önüne geldiğimizde asılmış olan etleri görünce oldukça şaşırdım. İşletmenin içerisi biraz küçüktü. Hemen bizi sekiz kişilik bir masaya aldılar. Hepimiz bir porsiyon sipariş verdik. Önden pirinç çorbası geldi. Bu çorba kuyuda pişen kuzu etinden damlayan sulardan yapılıyormuş. Gerçekten son derece lezzetliydi. Havanın da soğuk olmasından ötürü hemen çorbaları bitirdik. Sonrasında kebaplar servis edildi. Etler çok yumuşaktı. Resmen ağızda dağılıyordu. ☺️ Yani meşhur olduğu kadar lezzetli olduğuna kanaat getirdik. Porsiyon ücreti 100TL. Fiyat gayet uygundu. Mekan biraz salaş ve bakımsızdı. Ama işyeri içerisinde bir saniye bile müşteri eksik olmuyordu. Ben küçükbaş eti yiyemem fakat öyle güzeldi ki hissetmedim bile. 😂

We left after paying. The process of about 25-30 minutes was an unforgettable moment. I wish we had the opportunity to reach this taste at any time of the day. But on the other hand, even the difficulty of reaching some beautiful things is very beautiful. I could not give you information about the preparation of the food. Because as soon as we heard the name, we came to taste it. But here I will leave a promotional video that I watched. Thank you for taking the time for me.

Ödemeyi yaptıktan sonra ayrıldık. Yaklaşık 25-30 dakikalık bir süreç unutamayacağımız bir anı oldu. Keşke günün her saatinde bu lezzete ulaşma fırsatımız olsaydı. Ama diğer yandan bazı güzel şeylere ulaşmanın zorluğu bile çok güzel oluyor. Sizlere yemeğin yapılışı hakkında bilgi veremedim. Çünkü ismini duyar duymaz tatmaya geldik.
