🌳Dutlu Yol🍂

Hello everyone, friends. Every person wants to go to a quiet place and listen to his head at some time. Different environments to be preferred at such times are seaside, forest, river or lake edges, hobby gardens, mountain or hill peaks, etc. examples can be given. Me and my wife @bilginhilal mostly prefer to visit museum or ancient city. This is how we rest more.

Herkese merhaba arkadaşlar. Her insanın bazı zamanlarda sakin bir yere gidip kafasını dinlemek ister. Böyle zamanlarda tercih edilecek farklı ortamlar deniz kenarı, orman, nehir veya göl kenarları, hobi bahçeleri, dağ veya tepe zirveleri vb. örnekler verilebilir. Ben ve eşim @bilginhilal çoğunlukla müze yada antik kent ziyaret etmeyi tercih ediyoruz. Biz bu şekilde daha çok dinleniyoruz.

After our visit to the Temple of Artemis in the past weeks, we had the opportunity to stop by the road that I was always curious about. I don't want to simplify this by saying the road. Because it is the Mulberry Road, which has 80 years of history and stretches from the center of Selçuk to the coast. We have passed by it many times before. Because of the figures standing on the sides, I always called this place as the Lion Road in my own way. I smiled when I found out the truth. Because there were mulberry trees along the road. Don't you think it's obvious that the name of this place is Dutlu Yol? 😁 Due to the season, the trees were bare. We wish we could take steps among the fallen leaves in autumn.

Geçtiğimiz haftalarda Artemis Tapınağı gezimizden sonra hep merak ettiğim yola uğrama fırsatımız oldu. Yol deyip burayı basitleştirmek istemem. Çünkü 80 yıllık tarihi olan, Selçuk merkezden sahile kadar uzanan Dutlu Yol. Daha önce önünden çok kez geçmiştik. Kenarlarda duran figürlerden dolayı burasını hep Aslanlı Yol olarak adlandırmıştım kendimce. Daha sonra gerçeği öğrenince tebessüm ettim. Çünkü yol boyunca dut ağaçları vardı. Burasının isminin Dutlu Yol olması sizce de aşikar değil mi? 😁 Mevsim sebebiyle ağaçlar çıplaktı. Gönül ister ki sonbaharda dökülmüş yaprakların arasında adımlar atsaydık.

While walking with my wife, we realized that we were in the right place when we saw young people using bicycles, couples sitting on benches and people walking. I thanked the mulberry trees that hosted us for the calm and peaceful moments with the oxygen I received.

Eşimle ilerlerken bisiklet kullanan gençleri, banklarda oturan çiftleri ve yürüyüş yapan insanları görünce doğru yerde olduğumuzu anladık. Sakin ve huzurlu dakikalar için bize ev sahipliği yapan dut ağaçlarına aldığım oksijen ile teşekkürlerimi ilettim.

While walking, Ayasuluk Castle winked at us over the peach trees in the agricultural lands next to the road. When you come to the other side, you can see the planes flying over the airport. Do you know why I said that? Skydive events are held here, there is such an opportunity for those who love extreme sports. Luckily, I didn't have the opportunity to take photos because there was no event. Walking in this place between the Ephesus Museum, the Temple of Artemis and the Ancient City of Ephesus, I felt agitated. It is out of the question to get bored of Selçuk district, which smells of history. I don't know how many times my wife and I have said these words to each other. Along the way, we saw trees with numbers affixed to them. We were very curious about the meaning of these numbers. When we saw the sign, we realized that these trees were registered.

Yürürken yolun yanında bulunan tarım arazilerinde ki şeftali ağaçlarının üzerinden Ayasuluk Kalesi bizlere göz kırptı. Diğer tarafa gelince havalimanı üzerinde uçan uçakları görebiliyorsunuz. Bunu neden söyledim biliyor musunuz? Burada skydive etkinlikleri yapılıyor, extrem sporlar sevenler için böyle bir imkan var. Şansımıza etkinlik olmadığı için fotoğraf çekme fırsatım olmadı. Efes Müzesi, Artemis Tapınağı ve Efes Antik Kent arasında kalan bu yerde yürürken içim kıpır kıpır oldu. Tarih kokan Selçuk ilçesinden insanın sıkılması söz konusu bile olamaz. Bu cümleleri eşimle bir birimize kaç defa söyledik inanın sayısını bilmiyorum. Yol boyunca, üzerlerine sayı yapıştırılmış ağaçlar gördük. Bu sayıların anlamlarını çok merak etmiştik. Tabelayı görünce bu ağaçların tescillenmiş olduğunu anladık.

We traveled for about four kilometers. Time has literally flown by. I would definitely recommend my friends who care about cultural activities to visit this road. From now on, you can add this place to the list of places to go to relax, spend time, and ride a bicycle in peace. There is already a special area for cycling and a long bike path.
