Hello mushroom lovers!! Grateful that we can still meet on the day that I've been waiting for, namely Friday where we all participate in the #fungifriday community At this meeting I will share some pictures of my hunting results in winter
Leucocoprinus cepistipes mushroom or what we often call beach umbrella mushroom but some call it bell mushroom, this mushroom is a mushroom in the Agaricaceae family I often find this mushroom growing in piles of wood rotting and wood chips, but this time I didn't find it where I usually find it, today I found this mushroom growing on betel nut that already has buds, of course the betel nut already has buds like this, the condition is already rotten and very good for mushroom growth, this is not the first time I have encountered mushrooms growing on rotting betel nuts, but this is the first time I have seen this beach toadstool growing on betel nuts. The characteristics of this mushroom are very easy to mark, it has a characteristic where it has the same fruiting body as an umbrella shape in old age, when it first appears and in middle age this mushroom is shaped like a bell. The size of the fruiting body of this mushroom is 3 to 5cm, with a stem that looks very sturdy even though it is not at all 5 to 9cm in size which has a ring/membrane of the fruiting body at a young age on the stem. The fruiting body of this mushroom is dominated by a slightly brownish white color. This color does not last until old age, because when it is old the color of this mushroom will change to reddish white.
