Walking - One more activity before graduation 🎓 [ENG-ESP]

Some years ago, as part of the activities to celebrate graduations, a caravan was held in the cars of the parents, relatives and friends of the graduates, this caravan was carried out along an established route and during the entire route a bugle was played, with loud music, the cars were decorated with balloons and were marked with dedications.
After several accidents involving high school students, these caravans were banned to ensure the physical integrity of the people. In the school where my daughter studies, for two years they have been doing graduation walk 🎓, that day all students and family members who wish to accompany them attend, they carry balloons, banners and everything that is required to celebrate.
This year the march was celebrated with all the graduates, including the preschool children who moved on to first grade. We started arriving at the school very early in the morning and all the children were very excited. Those who had flannel with messages alluding to the occasion wore it, others wore birettas, which is a very popular accessory throughout the country on these dates, as I said, balloons and whistles could not be missing.
They were organized in order, first the little children and then the sixth graders. The walk was led by a van that carried the sound with children’s music and behind it we all walked with joy. The walk itself was not that long, about 6 blocks around the school.
When we arrived we waited for a group that had been hired to liven up the morning. These groups are very popular at birthdays and all kinds of events, they are known as mariachis costeños, I remember when they first came out they were all drums and that’s where the name “costeño” comes from, but now they bring many instruments, even trumpets and a singer. They are super fun and get everyone dancing.
Their repertoire ranges from nationalistic music including drums, to a crazy hour with merengue, salsa, reggaeton and more. The show lasted about an hour during which everyone danced non-stop. The preschoolers enjoyed the show and not to mention the older sixth graders, it was a spectacular party that we all enjoyed.
I have been told that we have celebrated a lot this graduation 🎓 but we must celebrate each stage overcome by our children because if for some leaving primary school is something insignificant, for them it is a big step to achieve their goals and as parents we must encourage them to continue. I have yet to publish the day of the book signing, which was also very nice, and the day of the presentation of certificates, but we are going little by little.

Hace algunos años como parte de las actividades para celebrar las graduaciones, se realizaba una caravana en los autos de los padres, familiares y amigos de los graduados, esta caravana se realizaba por una ruta establecida y durante todo el recorrido se tocaba corneta, con música a todo volumen, los autos se adornaban con globos y se marcaban con dedicatorias.
Después de varios accidentes que involucraron a estudiantes de secundaria, estas caravanas fueron prohibidas para garantizar la integridad física de las personas. En la escuela donde estudia mi hija, desde hace dos años hacen caminata de graduación 🎓, ese día asisten todos los alumnos y familiares que deseen acompañarlos, llevan globos, pancartas y todo lo que se requiera para festejar.
Este año la caminata se llevó a cabo con todos los graduados, incluyendo los niños de preescolar que pasaron a primera grado. Desde muy temprano empezamos a llegar a la escuela y todos los niños estaban muy emocionados. Los que mandaron a hacer franela con mensaje alusivos a la ocasión, la tenían puesta, otros con los birretes que es un accesorio que se ha hecho muy popular en todo el país en estas fechas, como dije los globos no podían faltar y los silbatos.
Se organizaron por orden, primero los niños pequeños y por último los de sexto grado. La caminata fue dirigida por una camioneta que llevaba el sonido con música infantil y detrás íbamos todos caminado con alegría. El recurrido en si no fue tan largo, más o menos alrededor de unas 6 cuadras alrededor de la escuela.
Al llegar esperamos a un grupo que había sido contratado para amenizar la mañana. Estos grupos son muy populares en cumpleaños y todo tipo de eventos, se les conoce como mariachis costeños, recuerdo que cuando salieron por primera vez eran todo tambores y de ahí viene el nombre de “costeño”, pero ahora traen muchos instrumentos, hasta trompetas y un cantante. Son superdivertidos y ponen a bailar a todo el mundo.
Su repertorio va desde música nacionalista incluyendo tambores, hasta una hora loca con merengue, salsa, reggaeton y más. El espectáculo duró aproximadamente una hora en la que todos bailaron sin parar. Los niños de preescolar disfrutaron del show y ni hablar de los mayores de sexto grado, fue una fiesta espectacular que todos disfrutamos.
Me han dicho que hemos celebrado mucho esta graduación 🎓 pero hay que celebrar cada etapa superada de nuestros hijos porque si para algunos salir de primaria es algo insignificante, para ellos es un gran paso para conseguir sus metas y como padres debemos animarles a seguir. Me falta publicar el día de la firma de libros, que también fue muy bonito, y el día de la entrega de certificados, pero vamos poco a poco.
Está me parece una buena iniciativa debido a los altos índices de accidentes con las caravanas está opción me parece más propicia para los niños hasta más sana, estaban contentos los niños y eso es bueno.
Si, a nosotros también nos parece, la verdad es que todo fue muy festivo y acordé para ellos, los niños de preescolar estaban súper felices luego con la música los grandes estaban eufóricos, bailaron sin parar.
Me lo imagino incluso estoy seguro que fue mejor opción
Te confieso que para mí la idea de la caravana es hermosa porque yo lo disfrute muchísimo pero bueno ya sabemos el porque y está idea de la caminata me parece excelente, como no celebrar este momento tan especial.🤗
Claro para mí también, porque viví las caravanas, pero bueno está opción es acorde a la situación y todos las disfrutan, este año me gustó la música luego de la caravana, los años anteriores no se había hecho pero me encantaría que siguiera así, le da un plus más festivo. Y los niños se divierten mucho.
