Buying fruits [ENG-ESP]
Hello everyone; I hope you are well on this wonderful day; today I went to do some fruit shopping; I like to consume them daily because fruits contain vitamins that our body needs and now facing a pandemic we must eat a balanced diet and eat lots of fruits. Here I tell you how I did in my shopping at the supermarket.
I often come to this supermarket because it has a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, so you can choose according to your consumption and financial needs.
I had a long time without seeing this fruit called Kiwi; some people might confuse it with another fruit that is very similar called nispero; it looks a lot like a Kiwi on the outside.
Apples, good choice when it comes to making a fruit salad; here a little undecided which color I would take green or red. Sometimes I tend to be a bit indecisive; everyone thinks they have patience until they go shopping with me.Manzanas, buena eleción a la hora de realizar una ensalada de frutas; aquí un poco indecisa que color llevaría verde ó roja.
This part is where the vegetables were. Chard, spinach, cabbage, lettuce, all that stuff I call green. It is an important and nutritious addition to our salads. Only today I won't take this kind of legumes because my salad will be fruit salad.
Once I have finished my fruit selection; I have to queue up to pay at one of the customer service counters.
Social distancing in queues; here I took longer than expected; because it was supposed to be something quick to cancel my purchase; but this gentleman was made to wait because he had no change in dollars. Low denomination bills are scarce in the country where I live, Venezuela. In short, it took us a long time in that line to cancel.
Back home. / Devuelta en casa.
I made a fruit salad that turned out to be a success, as it was delicious.

That fruit salad looks delicious! The kiwi was absolutely perfect. I must say the fruits look premium there! Are the prices for your market very expensive? It really looks like a nice market, the plants hanging add a nice touch and it looks super clean! To be honest, I take a long time to make decisions when I am shopping!
Thanks for bringing #MarketFriday!
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:
