Are you a reckless driver? Or super careful driver?

I came from a small town at Sarawak where most people live a slow life. There isn't alot of rats chase and we go about the pace of life quite without a hurry. And of course, people drive slow and steady. We can go for 40-60 km/hr and that is one. In fact, it is normal.

When I first came to Kuala Lumpur, not only did I have a cultural shock on crossing the road, I got shock but the drivers here. People drive fast, and during break, they stop so near behind your bum as though they are going to crash unto you. I also noticed people kept honking me. Initially, I didn't quite know why, assuming maybe my lights were spoilt? Or I didn't close the door tight. After a while, few friends of mine told me I drove too slow. Haha. I had no idea. I was just happily minding my own business driving while following the rules. I was still positive when some drivers from behind me changed lane and drove passed me while looking at me. Maybe they never see such beauty? 🤪

20 years later, I noticed I would be wondering when a driver in front of me drove at 40km/hr. Haha. I had changed alot. I used to slow down when thr traffic lights are orange. Now, I tend to speed up when it's going orange. I know... I know... Don't nag me. I had got alot of nag from my eldest son. He kept reminding me that orange light means to slow down. Is there such thing as slow down at Kuala Lumpur? And my friends told me wait till you drive at Penang. They are the most reckless among the reckless. Haha. They only see green lights, they can't see red or yellow/orange light.😜
