The days after a #ssg Monster Raffle are going to be like the weeks leading up to Christmas... except with Christmas, you know when the big day will be arriving! Nervously checking the post... seeing if there is a "missed post" card lying around... hoping that it hasn't been blown away! Or that the post has already been collected by my wife and kid... and after seeing that there wasn't anything for them... just leaving it stashed away somewhere without telling me!

So, a nice loud knock on the door this afternoon from the postie woke me up from my afternoon nap! I've been doing my taxes... and as a freelancer, that is a right pain in the arse! But I'm getting there, I'm ready to submit now... I just need to fill out the numbers on the online submission before the deadline tomorrow. I just needed to make sure that I was awake enough to put the right numbers in the right place... and to deal with any unexpected problems.

... and a resolution to not leave it so late next year.

Unfortunately, I had to go and pick up the kids first though... but as soon as I got back, I opened up the package... I already knew what it was, there was a nice heft to it for something that was the size of a letter! And as my mother taught me, read the card before moving onto the presents! Thanks @fat-elvis!

Oh man... this pure silver pour is unbelievable... it is one thing to see it in a picture, but to see it in real life and to hold it in your hand. It is just marvellous!

2.5 ounces of pure silver there! I wonder where the rest of them are (if this is number 05...).

And @fat-elvis did mention that he always puts in some little extras for the winners of his prizes! Not the reason that I picked the skull head of course, I didn't realise that until after I had chosen. I'm just attracted to the more unusual designs and artwork that are on offer.

But the first of the extras was this pure coper Bitcoin piece! I have seen some of these floating around, and I've always been on the edge of picking them up... but in the end, my eyes go to something else. So, I'm pretty chuffed that I've finally got a crypto inspired piece in my collection... well, that's not totally true, I have HIVE and STEEM rounds!

Ah... the original Bitcoin vision! I'm not sure that the old guy still has it in him... I've been more leaning towards Ethereum for quite some time now. But the big guy still has some staying power and real name recognition!

Oh... and to round it out, a complete set of the 1965 Canadian coins! 0.8 silver content in them! And the first complete set of Canadian coins for me! I have some 1964 dollars and some 1966 ones, and a couple of the 10 and 20 cent ones.. so this rounds it out quite nicely! Plus, they are in better condition than a lot of mine!
