Omnicase Stand for Steam Deck (JSAUX)

Another little piece in the JSAUX Omnicase package... and one of the many extras that were included in the Kickstarter package for the Pro version. This time, it is a bit of a return to form for JSAUX who had made their name with Steam Deck accessories... namely docking stations and mods for the handheld PC gaming platform.

When I had seen this addition, I had thought that it was a proper docking station... but sadly, it isn't quite as fully featured as that. It is just a physical stand only, with no input-output ports and all of that. Still, it does make for a handy place to keep the Steam Deck when it is charging or when it is just sitting around!

Of course, a proper docking station would have been awesome... but not this time!

However, I have to be pretty impressed by the quality of the stand... solid with a decent heft to it... making it a stable and secure place for your precious Deck! Silicone inserts that ensure that your machine isn't going to accidently slip away, and also protecting the body and screen at the same time.

Likewise, a secure footing on the bottom as well... which also doubles as a bit as a dust magnet!

... and here we have the Deck sitting handily in its stand. Secure and safe! I will have to add in a little angled USB port so that the charging cable isn't placing undue stress on the USB port... but that was always on the list of things to get anyway. And standing up like this, it does take up significantly less space on my bedside table!

So, not a fully featured docking station... but still a decently made and crafted stand for resting the Deck when it isn't being used!
