Monster Raffle Prize from @geneeverett

The prizes from the #silvergoldstackers community Monster Raffle are starting to land on the shores of Australia! And then next one was this one from @geneeverett! A nice tough bag, and this time I knew what the USPS "not delivered, addressee not home" description meant... As soon as I saw that, I went straight down to the Post Office to pick up my package!

Except... when I opened my post box, there was no collection notice. Ah well, maybe they hadn't put out the notices yet. But then when I asked at the desk, they said that they had already put out the notices! Uh oh...

... but they know me by sight down there, it is a small post office, and they said that they would do a quick check! And lo and behold, they had accidentally put the collection notice in the wrong post box! Eeeep... lucky I came down immediately, or someone else might have been the lucky receiver of this silver!

After getting the tough bag opened... I didn't have a knife with me, and I wanted to have a look before I picked up the kids from school.... there was this wad of kitchen toweling! Every stacker has a distinct way of packaging the goods, and this was a good one... if it didn't get wet! Thankfully, it seemed like it was clean paper toweling... and not pre-used for cleaning up cooking fat!

... and inside the padding, was a nice little package. Sort of drug package-like...

... LOL, I always feel like I'm playing pass the parcel when I'm unwrapping these things! Another tightly wrapped package of paper toweling! And I'm not I'm being a bit more careful... don't want to drop or damage the real stuff inside!

And finally! The two one-ounce silver buffalos! And when I picked them out, they were absolutely freezing to the touch! A good sign, and a nice "ting" when you flicked them!

Amazing!!! I don't have any of these in my collection, so these will be a really nice addition to the stack!

Big thanks to @geneeverett and the #silvergoldstackers!

I believe hardware wallets will become a norm...

Mixed thoughts on this... it is too much of a pain for most people to get their heads around. I think that smart wallets/account abstraction will eventually be the way to go for most people.

We need to make it easier, not complex...

I hate it when I have to go to the post office to pick up a package. I've had that happen several times before and it's pretty annoying. I get they do it for security, but it still is a huge inconvenience. Those are some nice looking pieces!

Ah yeah... it is my own fault, we use a PO Box for most things. I don't like the idea of handing out my home address (even if it is easy enough to find if you bother looking)... but more importantly, not leaving packages lying around the outside of the house!

Yeah, the leaving packages out isn't a great idea if you aren't in the right neighborhood. We all kind of look out for each other. I get the PO Box thing. We can't all be famous orchestra performers like you!
