A basketball weekend in Rome

This weekend in Rome the final of the Italian Cup of Serie A 2 and Serie B took place in the renovated building in Viale Tiziano, closed for a few years for renovation.
It had been about 8 years since I had entered this building, the historic home venue of Virtus Roma and, as you can see from one of the photos, it was pleasant to find the famous volleyball stuck in the ceiling of the structure.

Between one match and another of the finals, on Saturday the 3x3 finals of the Under 16 and Under 18 categories took place in the playground outside the building, while in an adjacent space there were me and 2 of my friends doing basketball propaganda.

It was a refreshing weekend of basketball, the likes of which I haven't had in a while.

Do you know that there is an app called Pick-Roll to find pitches near or near you wherever you are?
I downloaded it and I use it every time I go out of Rome.

Un weekend di basket a Roma

Questo weekend a Roma si osno svolte le finale della Coppa Italia di Serie A 2 e Serie B nel rinnovato palazzetto di Viale Tiziano, chiuso da qualche anno per ristrutturazione.
Erano circa 8 anni che non entravo più in questo palazzetto storica sede delle partite casalinghe della Virtus Roma e, come vedete da una delle foto, è stato piacevole ritrovare il famoso pallone da pallavolo incastrato nel soffitto della struttura.

Tra una partita e l'altra delle finali, sabato si sono svolte nel playground esterno al palazzetto le finali di 3x3 delle categorie Under 16 e Under 18, mentre in uno spazio adiacente c'ero io e 2 miei amici che facevamo propaganda su un canestro.

E' stato un rinfrescante weekend di basket, di quelli che non facevo da un po'.

Io l'ho scaricata e la utilizzo ogni volta che vado fuori Roma.
