She’s a Rainbow! Abstract and colorful digital painting and GIF

Hello everybody!! Today I'd like to share with you this drawing created in Procreate app.

It's been a while since I didn't publish here because I didn't take the time to create some art. But today I just decided to let my imagination flow.

I felt inspired by a TV Show that I'm watching for the second time: "Las Chicas del Cable", this is the first Spanish TV Show created by Netflix. The series has different stories inside, and one of them is about a girl that fell in love with another girl, and with time, she started to feel a certain disconnection with her body, she started to feel that she was a boy inside a woman's body.

The interesting about it is that the story is based in 1929 when this kind of thing ended up being punished not only by society but also by the law.

I started to create something "retro", and "vintage" at the beginning, with some beige tones contrasting with some shiny blue, pink, and others.

But as soon as I continued with the creation, I stopped focusing on vintage and followed my soul and my mind, and I like the result, it has been striking and fun, and vintage is present, but only in the details.

¡¡¡Hola a todos!!! Hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes este dibujo creado en la aplicación Procreate.

Hace tiempo que no publicaba aquí porque no me tomaba el momento de crear algo de arte. Pero hoy decidí dejar fluir mi imaginación.

Me he inspirado en un programa de televisión que estoy viendo por segunda vez: "Las Chicas del Cable", esta es la primera serie española creada por Netflix. La serie tiene diferentes historias dentro, y una de ellas es sobre una chica que se enamoró de otra chica, y con el tiempo, empezó a sentir cierta desconexión con su cuerpo, empezó a sentir que era un chico dentro de un cuerpo de mujer.

Lo interesante es que la historia transcurre en 1929, cuando este tipo de cosas acababan siendo castigadas no sólo por la sociedad sino también por la ley.

Al principio empecé a crear algo "retro", y "vintage", con algunos tonos beige que contrastaban con algunos azules brillantes, rosas y otros.

Pero en cuanto continué con la creación, dejé de centrarme en lo vintage y seguí mi alma y mi mente, y me gusta el resultado, ha quedado llamativo y divertido, y lo vintage está presente, pero sólo en los detalles.

After that, I wanted to play a little bit with the animation tool in the Procreate app, a tool that I only use sometimes, just for fun, and the result is the GIF that you can see. I designed one with this kinda beige background and another one without a background that I love!

Después de eso, quise jugar un poco con la herramienta de animación de la aplicación Procreate, una herramienta que sólo uso a veces, sólo por diversión, y el resultado es el GIF que pueden ver. Diseñé uno con este fondo un poco beige y otro sin fondo que me encanta.

En este post, comparto con vosotros algunas capturas de pantalla del proceso creativo tanto del dibujo como del diseño del GIF.
