Join me on my solo traveler adventures in the Middle East: a daily trip to Haifa!

Hello dear hivers!! I hope you are having an amazing day!! Today I'm going to share a post that has been waiting a lot for being here, and it's about Haifa, a city in the North of Israel, on the west coast.

You'll see in this video, and also in some other videos that I'm going to share with you here, that I say: Have You Ben Here Community. This is because I have material that I have been recording during my journey in Israel, but I couldn't upload everything. On the one hand for the lack of time, but on the other hand, because I have been trying to hare in different communities, in order to not collapse my posting here in Pinmapple, I don't think that could b appropriated according to the dynamism here on Hive.

Let's go with the post:

Haifa is a city that, as I mentioned before, is in the North of the country. It takes you 1 hour and a half to get there by bus or by train. You have to take 2, but it is still very easy to get to that place.

My trip had to be very fast because I had to work at 7 pm, so what I did, was to arrive in Haifa, and quickly go to the beach, because of course, it's my favorite place.

It was a little bit cloudy when I arrived, but slowly, the sun started to show up, and the landscape, which was already beautiful, transformed into a stunning place.

I needed to enjoy it a little bit more the beach, so despite it being a bit windy, I decided to have a coffee and sit for a while to contemplate the beach. I took that moment without the phone since I realized that I' was connected almost all the time, always pending on the market, Hive, WhatsApp, and all the apps that we have nowadays. So I just took these pictures and then, I stayed for 15 minutes more or less, quiet, trying to connect with myself.

After this, I had to make a decision: go directly to the gardens, or go to the Monastery. I checked on Google Map and the Monastery was pretty close to where I was, and then it was easier from there to get to the Gardens, so I chose to do that, but at that moment I also realized that I was going to need to take many buses that day if I wanted to see all that I wanted (anyway I could do all the city in 4 hours, of course).

For some reason, I ended up finding the Carmelites Discalced Monastery, despite the fact that I didn't know that this place was in Haifa. So I took it as a sign and decided to go quickly.

I think it was closed, I mean there was a door open, and another one inside, close. So I just thought that was better to continue with my day, and that’s why I took some pictures in the front of the building and that’s it.
My next stop was The Stella Mary’s Monastery, which was the one that I was looking for in the first place.
But when I was on my way to the Monastery, I couldn’t avoid looking to my left, where the Mediterranean Sea was… and you won’t believe the view that I found there. I just had to walk in that direction and leave the Monastery for later.

After staying there for some minutes and recording a video for the community, I walked a little bit more next to the beach because I just wanted to explore, and I found another amazing view of the city and the Ocean, this time closer to the Monastery.

I also saw a beautiful gift that Chile, a country that I love and is next to Argentina, made to Haifa, and to Stella Maris, who is the image of the Virgin Mary as a protector of the sea.

After this, I continued to the Monastery, and there I found a beautiful garden and a church. So I went inside and took some pictures. But I didn’t want to interrupt the celebration that was taking place at that moment.

Here, I had to buy a bottle of water in a coffee shop that was next to the Monastery because I was totally thirsty.

Then, I went to the famous gardens in Haifa. The city is known for them, and I really wanted to see why everybody was crazy about it, and as soon as I arrived, I understood. Is really a very beautiful scenario over there, and I want to share a specific post about them.

Anyway, I’m going to show you a little bit of this place right now. Before posting, I want to read a bit about them.

After this, my time to go back arrived, so I just went to take the bus. I had to run because it was going to be at the bus stop in 3 minutes, but... at the end I had to wait for it for almost 10 minutes, and I lost the train that was going to take me to Tel Aviv, so I arrived late to my job, for 10 minutes.

Anyway, it was a great experience.

It was the first time that I took a train in Israel... The best quality!!
