Mi amado padre aún tiene mucha vida y salud gracias a Dios. A sus 86 años sigue siendo un hombre muy activo, le gusta leer y siempre mantiene un buen sentido del humor aunque lo gruñó tampoco se le quita, una combinación extraña pero propia de él 🤣.

Viví y crecí junto a mis padres, la muerte de mi mamita hermosa fue lo que deshizo la unión de tantos años. Recuerdo a mi padre como una persona muy dura y fuerte de carácter, demasiado estricto con nosotros sus hijos pero a la vez, cariñoso, meloso, es una persona de dar muchos abrazos, besos y apapachos.

Todas las canciones que mi padre nos enseñó se las he cantado a mis nietos ja,ja,ja. He seguido esa costumbre de mi padre de reír, cantar e incluso inventar canciones locas para mis pequeñines.

My beloved father still has plenty of life and health thanks to God. At 86 years old he is still a very active man, he likes to read and always keeps a good sense of humor although the grumpiness is not removed either, a strange combination but typical of him 🤣. I lived and grew up with my parents, the death of my beautiful mommy was what undid the union of so many years. I remember my father as a very hard and strong character, too strict with us his children but at the same time, affectionate, sweet, a person to give lots of hugs, kisses and hugs. All the songs that my father taught us I have sung to my grandchildren ha,ha,ha. I have followed my father's habit of laughing, singing and even inventing crazy songs for my little ones. My father is a man of many stories and memories. His ability to communicate and expose his conflicts as a child is amazing. He was an abandoned son and maybe that made him a devoted father.

Mi padre es un hombre con muchas historias y recuerdos. Es increíble su capacidad de comunicar y de exponer sus conflictos de cuando era niño. Fue un hijo abandonado y quizá eso lo hizo ser un padre abnegado.

Mi padre tuvo 14 hermanos, en su época las familias eran numerosas. El tema que nunca entendí fue por qué las mujeres parían tanto si no tenían recursos para sostener y brindar toda la atención a sus hijos. Esa situación traumó a mi papá porque lo enviaron de manera obligatoria a un internado donde solo recibió maltratos.

En esta fecha aún mi padre recuerda el número de la habitación donde dormía, el número que le fue asignada a su cama, a su uniforme y hasta la cantidad de reglasos que recibía en la palma de su mano cuando se portaba "mal". 50 golpes mínimos recibía cuando se portaba "bien".

Cada vez que cuenta eso me da mucha tristeza pero, dejar a mi padre que narre esas historia lo ayuda a liberar esos sentimientos y emociones reprimidas. Además, nos ha ayudado a nosotros sus hijos para entender las razones por las cuales era tan estricto.

My father is a man with many stories and memories. His ability to communicate and expose his conflicts as a child is amazing. He was an abandoned son and perhaps that made him a selfless father. My father had 14 siblings, in his day families were large. The issue I never understood was why women gave birth so much if they did not have the resources to support and provide all the attention to their children. That situation traumatized my father because he was sent to a compulsory boarding school where he was only mistreated. At this date my father still remembers the number of the room where he slept, the number assigned to his bed, his uniform and even the number of rulers he received in the palm of his hand when he misbehaved. He received at least 50 strokes when he was "good". Every time he tells that story it makes me very sad but, letting my father tell that story helps him to release those pent up feelings and emotions. It has also helped us, his children, to understand the reasons why he was so strict.

Como le dije, en casa nunca faltaba nada, ni siquiera un bocado de comida por mi papá se encargaba de todo. Su preocupación fue más ocupación y por eso le agradezco tantas atenciones.

Papito hermoso, eres un ser de luz, una persona ejemplar, un ser humano que cometió muchos errores pero aún así nunca has dejado de tener un corazón noble y generoso. Dios ha permitido sanar tus heridas y es esa la razón por la cual sigues siendo espléndido.

¡Dios sigue bendiciendo tu vida papito! Nadie mejor que tú como padre, no te cambio ni te cambiaría por otro papá, eres único, eres grande, fuerte, poderoso y así seguirá siendo.

Mis hermanos y yo te amamos con el alma, amamos tus berrinches, tus rabietas, tus cambios de humor, tus alegrías, tu hermosa risa, y también tu gran sabiduría. Celebraremos contigo ese gran día, ¡el día de Padre!

As I told you, nothing was ever missing at home, not even a morsel of food because my dad took care of everything. His concern was more occupation and for that I thank him for so many attentions.Beautiful daddy, you are a being of light, an exemplary person, a human being who made many mistakes but still you have never ceased to have a noble and generous heart. God has allowed your wounds to heal and that is the reason why you are still splendid. God continues to bless your life daddy! No one better than you as a father, I do not and would not change you for another daddy, you are unique, you are great, strong, powerful and will continue to be so.
