I had a visitor at home, a niece went on a trip and for reasons not very understandable in the flight protocols she had to leave her. Her name is Oreo, she is an adopted dog who became very fearful because of her abandonment. My niece is patient with her, adores her, spoils her and does everything to make Oreo feel calm and loved. Oreo adores my niece and the members of the household.

_{Me llegó visita a la casa, una sobrina se fue de viaje y por razones poco comprensibles en los protocolos de vuelo debió dejarla. Está hermosa se llama Oreo, es una cochorra adoptada quien a raíz de su abandono se volvió muy temerosa. Mi sobrina le tiene paciencia, la adora, la consiente y hace todo para que Oreo se sienta tranquila y amada. Por su parte, Oreo adora a mi sobrina y a los miembros de la casa.}

There is a tendency to believe that animals do not suffer loss and abandonment but they are just like humans, sensitive, emotional. Oreo is a vivid example of this, she suffered abandonment, was left in an animal shelter and has been shy ever since. When her niece left her she cried like a baby. Five days have passed since my niece traveled and Oreo is still sad, she only wants to be around me and my husband, if we go out we have to take her with us to avoid her anguish.

_{Se tiende a creer que los animales no sufren las pérdidas y el abandono pero ellos son tan iguales a los seres humanos, sensibles, emocionales. Oreo es un ejemplo vívo de ello, sufrió el abandono, fue dejada en un albergue de animales y desde ese entonces se muestra tímida. Cuando ni sobrina la dejó lloró como una bebé. Han pasado Cinco días desde que mi sobrina viajó y Oreo sigue triste, no quiere sino estar encima de mi y de mi esposo, si salimos debemos llevarla para evitarle angustias.}

On our holidays Oreo is still with us, although we have another small problem, Jimena and her do not tolerate each other, jealousy makes her furious ha,ha,ha if she takes one of them, the other one also asks for arms. These actions are a sign of the intelligence of the animals, they demand affection, tolerance and even respect.

_{En nuestros días festivos Oreo nos sigue acompañando, aunque tenemos otro pequeño problema, Jimena y ella no se toleran, los celos la enfurecen ja,ja,ja si se carga a una pues la otra también pide brazos. Estás acciones son muestra de la inteligencia de los animalitos, demandan cariño, tolerancia y hasta respeto.}

Jimena is seven years old at home, I have already mentioned that she suffers from cataract and at this moment she can't see anything, we must take her to the vet because she seems to be losing her sense of smell, I don't know if it's something of ours but it's hard for her to locate even the place where the food is. She instinctively goes to the place where the cup is placed but if we change it she does not follow the smells. This new situation worries us.

_{Jimena tiene siete años en casa, ya he comentado que sufre de catarata y ya en este momento no ve nada, debemos llevarla al veterinario porque pareciera estar perdiendo el sentido del olfato, no sé si son cosas nuestra pero le cuesta ubicar hasta el lugar de la comida. Por instinto se va al lugar donde se le coloca la taza pero si la cambiamos no sigue los olores. Esta nueva situación nos preocupa.}

It has been sad to see the deterioration of Jimenita, with the loss of her vision she has also lost skills, she is sedentary even though she is taken for a walk for her routines.
