What price will CUB reach when PolyCUB is launched?

We are making big steps with the PolyCUB audit and we are closer than ever to getting the new DeFi 2.0 platform out in the open. And together with that, we'll have the PolyCUB airdrop for CUB holders for a period of time, similar to how Splinterlands handles that for Splintershards (SPS) governance token. And with such incentives, we all know what it will follow - the CUB price should improve and see the good days once again.

So let's try to predict and challenge the community to give some feedback on the CUB price.

What price will CUB reach when PolyCUB is launched?

  • 0.30$ (similar to current price levels)
  • 0.50$

  • Other price, out of this metaverse

And to give the start on this topic I will start envisioning a price close to $1. We already see that the CUB price started to improve and considering that together with PolyCUB launch there will be also some new features enabled on CUB platform, that should only improve the economics. So while I will be conservative, I think that pushing for a $1 price point is pretty realistic. Let's hear your thoughts now!

I'm gonna go with a double to 0.75 in the short term, but who knows?

If everyone apes into cub it could hit 1.50 short-term

Well I second your visions. It can easily touch $1 and probably more especially in the beginning months of airdrops. But also yes, price appreciation is longer term game. And I expect it to stabilize between 0.6-0.8.
I feel airdrop is an opportunity to mass market and bring some more people, retail investors and eyeballs to the Cub. Growth in userbase will most affect the CUB price.

I'm thinking maybe a spike around $1 and then dropping back to the 0.7 or 0.8 regions. At that price, CUB would still be very undervalued but I think with time that will change.

I predict the total opposite. With liquidity pools giving back high precentages, I reckon there will be a massive sell off of CUB after the airdrop. Happens all the time. It will then take a couple of months to get back to any kind of price.

I think the FOMO and hype will drive it closer to $0.90. CUB was fairly crazy when it was launched and the price was way higher. I don't think it will go up that far though.

The price I want CUB to reach as PolyCUB launches? Over $5 seems fair. In reality though - I could see it touching $1 and sitting there momentarily.

I think users will sell cub to get polycub and that may dump the price of CUB right after the airdrop. That could mean the price of CUB will touch $1 as you suggested before airdrop begins.

I feel it's going to be a staggered effect. So right now we are starting to see some of that from $0.25 to the $0.31 we are at now. When we get the official release date it will most likely spike up to $0.50 - $0.60 range but as the airdrops starts to happen over 60 days I see us bump to $1+ and trickling back down after 30-40 days. Of course we will see lol going to depend on a lot of things.

I would be happy with 0.50$, but I think we will land around 1$... But, you never know with the power of FOMO how it will go... And also, as this airdrop will be like with SPS tokens (not 1 day, but through 60 days I think), the price could stay on some nice level during this period... ;)

The ask price now at LeoDesk is $1.29. After reading your post, I got curious and so went straight to LeoDex. When I checked the token info, there is a note not to trade the token, but when I checked the market, someone is selling 6.683 CUB at 0.1. I bought it as a test with 0.6668 HIVE and my order went through. When I checked my wallet, its' value shoot up to $6.668. Thinking it was a glitch. After a while, it went down to $0.73. Interesting experiment.

CUB on Leodex are not worth anything. It was only used to distribute the airdrop one year ago... You should buy it on cubdefi/pancake...

I thought I will be stuck with my 6.683 CUB on Leo DEX. Surprisingly, someone bought my CUB token today at $1.20. That's a 79.64% appreciation in 13 days.

I think people will be buying more CUB during the hype build up in the upcoming days. That should push it a bit. Once PolyCUB airdrop finishes, most people will either sell their PolyCUB and cash out. Or use their CUB to buy more PolyCUB and vice verse. It could go anywhere but it's a great news for the CUB ecosystem. Looking forward to the launch! 🔥

The price will probably depend on the bonding conditions. I still don't know how they want to manage the discounts and APY distribution since all DeFi 2.0 projects launch with very high APY and high discounts for bonding in the first week or two.

As interest grows the APY is boosted even more. It's not easy to balance out.

$0.75 is a reasonable target imo, if the market doesn't take another dump and BTC ain't looking really good right now.

Definitely, the PolyCUB project will affect the price of CUB but I can't make the exact prediction. Anything above $1 is my take

Interesting post, I am fairly certain it will reach the highs and that round 1$ mark.
I know it's maybe not the right place to ask, but does anyone know whether unclaimed cub rewards are going to be counted towards the airdrop?

CUB could very realistically be at $50 eventually. I'm not worried about the short term at all. I have been buying all the way to the bottom multiple times. Currently looking at some solid gains after CUB prices went up.
