Picture of The Day #6 - An Ancient Lamp
Long time ago before the electricity of our town come, we used lamp to give us light at night. We used kerosene , put in the bottle,a tiny cloth getting inserted inside a tiny pipe at the middle or the glass or bottle cap. That is one of our source of light aside from candle. Candle is expensive too.
This is called petromax by my grandfather, a lamp that gave us light too. It is safe than the other way of having light. This is one I bought at home but it is no longer kerosene but we used battery. I missed the one my grandfather we had before. One of the great memory of my grandfather.
