Marketfriday - The Late Riser Flea Market

( EN / DE ) Once a month there is a so-called "late riser flea market" here in Graz. Normally, in order to find a good stand at the flea markets in this country, you have to be there at 5 am at the latest.
Not everyone's thing, so this idea came up with the late riser flea market, which starts at 10h in the morning and closes again at 16h in the afternoon.
Einmal im Monat findet hier in Graz ein sogenannter "Langschläfer Flohmarkt" statt. Normalerweise muss man, um einen guten Standplatz zu finden bei den Flohmärkten hierzulande spätestens um 5 h morgens dort sein.
Nicht jedermanns Sache, daher kam diese Idee mit dem Langschläfer Flohmarkt auf, der um 10h vormittags startet und um 16h nachmittags wieder schließt.

Diese Überdachung dient eigentlich dem wöchentlichen Bauernmarkt, wo Bauern aus der Region schon seit ewigen Zeiten an zwei Tagen in der Woche zum Verkauf ihrer selbst produzierten Lebensmittel in die Stadt kommen.
Für den ersten Sonntag jeden Monat hat er nun auch eine andere Verwendungsmöglichkeit gefunden.
Es wäre eigentlich eine interessante Überdachung, wenn sie nicht schon so herunter gekommen und ein wenig verwahrlost wäre. Aber sie erfüllt ihren Zweck, Käufer und Verkäufer sind ein wenig vor den Launen des Wetters geschützt.

Many things were certainly once a true treasure for their former owners and now they hope to find a new favorite person who will continue to cherish them.
Clowns, Puppen, Klamotten, Geschirr, Taschen, ach die Liste könnte endlos werden. Bei manchen Dingen würde man gerne die Geschichte dahinter kennen.
Viele Dinge waren bestimmt einmal ein wahrer Schatz für ihre ehemaligen Besitzer und nun hoffen sie, einen neuen Lieblingsmenschen zu finden, die sie weiterhin wertschätzt.

Das zweite war diesmal eine Organisation, die sich für streunende Tiere engagiert. Ja, man möchte meinen, dieses Thema sollte in einem Land wie Österreich kein Thema mehr sein? Ist es aber immer noch.
