Introducing a new Community "HIVE MEMORIAL FOREST"
A quiet and dignified place on the Chain where we can remember those we love and had to let go. Obituaries of people and animals we have loved and lost find a place here to be carved on the Chain in perpetuity.
A few months ago I was looking for a suitable community to tell the 13 years journey of my dog and me. I didn't find anything, so I asked @thekittygirl if there was such a community on Hive? She replied in the negative, but she was immediately excited about the idea of creating just such a place on the blockchain.
And so she helped me create the "Hive Memorial Forest." She also created the little logo with the heart and the so appropriate text "always in my heart". In the meantime for me a lot has happened in my Hive life. It went up and down, a lot of new things had to be learned.
But today, when I saw a post from @jerrytsuseer here in the community I knew, I finally have to write this community introduction post. And here we go.
The thought behind it is that we all face grief and loss in our lives. For those who would like to, there is now this community where they can write a wonderful obituary for their beloved but lost souls.
I think and hope reflecting on and writing such a posting can also be healing. At least for me, it was an important step in saying a loving goodbye to my dog and letting her go.
I don't want to make any big rules for this community, but what I do want to emphasize:
Posts about people or animals we loved and lost.
If you are active in the Hive Memorial Forest, please be sure to behave as gracefully as if you were visiting a cemetery.
The rest are not rules, but suggestions:
Make sure it's your own photos, but also that you are allowed to use the photos and consider whether the person and also their heirs would want these photos to be seen here. For example, in this case you could write a post without personal photos of the person.
When it comes to celebrities, first look at the existing posts to see if someone has already written about them and then maybe decide to write a good comment there.
If it doesn't feel right for you to receive rewards for such a post, then you still have the option to either decline the rewards (decline payout) or possibly set a person or community you want to help as the recipient of the rewards (beneficiaries) This is completely up to you. I remember struggling with this in Minja's post, so I just want to mention these options here.
For further ideas and suggestions I am very happy, possibly there was also the thought from @thekittygirl to organize a competition for the banner and logo, what do you think? With @siphon I was a long time ago already in conversation about ideas, but we have lost it again from the eyes.
Another idea would be for example to pin a post where everyone who wants can put sayings or quotes on the subject in the comments?
So please use the comment section of this article to share your ideas and exchange them with others! Reblogs and comment tagging from people who might be interested in this topic are most welcome to help get the idea out into the hive world.
After I know your opinions, there will then be an official community post with the guidelines.
I wish for this to be a wonderful place that also reflects this sad, yet hopeful part of our lives. A place on the Chain that is not as loud and colorful as most, but quiet, reflective and deep meaningful.

Vorstellung der neuen Community „HIVE MEMORIAL FOREST“
Ein ruhiger und würdevoller Platz auf der Hive Cahin, wo wir uns derer erinnern können, die wir lieben und gehen lassen mussten. Nachrufe auf Menschen und Tiere, die wir geliebt und verloren haben, finden hier einen Platz, um auf der Chain auf ewig eingmeisselt zu sein.
Vor ein paar Monaten war ich auf der Suche nach einer geeigneten Community, um die Geschichte von meiner Hündin und mir zu erzählen. Ich wurde nicht fündig, so fragte ich thekittygirl, ob es so eine Community auf Hive gibt? Sie verneinte, aber sie war sofort begeistert von der Idee, eben solch einen Ort auf der blockchain zu erschaffen.
Und so half sie mir, den „Hive Memorial Forest“ ins Leben zu rufen. Sie erstellte auch das kleine Logo mit dem Herz und dem so passenden Text „always in my heart“. Inzwischen ist sehr viel geschehen in meinem Hive Leben. Es ging drunter und drüber, viel Neues war zu lernen.
Heute aber, als ich einen Post von jerrytrusseer in die Community sah wusste ich, ich muss endlich diesen Community Vorstellungs Post schreiben. Und hier sind wir.
Der Gedanke dahinter ist, dass wir alle uns in unserem Leben mit Trauer und Verlust konfrontiert sehen. Für diejenigen, die es gerne möchten gibt es nun diese Community, wo sie einen wundervollen Nachruf auf die geliebten Seelen schreiben können.
Ich denken und hoffe, das Reflektieren über und Schreiben an solch einem Posting kann auch heilsam sein. Zumindest für mich war es ein wichtiger Schritt, um meine Hündin liebevoll zu verabschieden und gehen zu lassen.
Ich möchte keine großen Regeln für diese Community aufstellen, was ich aber hervorheben möchte:
Posts über Menschen oder Tiere, die wir liebten und verloren haben
Wenn du im Hive Memorial Forest aktiv bist, so achte bitte darauf, dich so würdevoll zu benehmen, als wenn du einen Friedhof besuchen würdest.
Der Rest sind keine Regeln, sondern Anregungen:
Abgesehen davon, dass es ohnehin deine Fotos sein sollten, achte darauf, dass du die verwendeten Fotos auch nutzen darfst und überlege dir, ob der Mensch und auch seine Erben es wollen würden, wenn hier sein Foto zu sehen ist. Zum Beispiel könnte man in diesem Fall auch einen Post ohne persönliche Fotos von dem Menschen schreiben.
Wenn es um prominente Persönlichkeiten geht, so schau doch zuerst in die vorhandenen Postings, ob vielleicht schon jemand darüber geschrieben hat und entscheide dich dann vielleicht besser, dort einen guten Komentar zu verfassen.
Falls es für dich nicht richtig anfühlt, für solch einen Post Rewards zu erhalten, dann hast du immer noch die Möglichkeit entweder die Rewards zurückzuweisen (decline payout) oder eventuell eine Person oder Gemeinschaft, der du helfen möchtest, als Empfänger der Rewards einzusetzen.
Dies bleibt völlig dir überlassen. Ich kann mich noch gut erinnern, dass ich bei Minjas Posting damit haderte, daher will ich diese Möglichkeiten hier einfach erwähnt haben.
Für weitere Ideen und Anregungen bin ich sehr froh, eventuell steht auch der Gedanke im Raum, für das Banner und Logo einen Wettbewerb zu veranstalten, was haltet ihr davon? Mit siphon war ich vor längerem schon im Gespräch über Ideen, allerdings haben wir es wieder aus den Augen verloren.
Eine andere Idee wäre zum Beispiel einen Post anzupinnen, in dem jeder der will Sprüche oder Zitate zu dem Thema in die Kommentare stellen kann?
Also bitte nutzt den Kommentarbereich dieses Artikels um eure Ideen mitzuteilen bzw euch mit anderen darüber auszutauschen! Reblogs und Komment Tagging von Menschen, für die dies Thema interessant sein könnte sind herzlichst willkommen, um die Idee in die Hive Welt hinaus zu tragen.
Ich wünsche mir, dass dies ein wundervoller Platz wird, der auch diesen traurigen, doch hoffnungsvollen Teil unseres Leben widerspiegelt. Ein Ort auf der Chain, der nicht so laut und bunt wie die meisten anderen ist, sondern ruhig, reflektierend und in die Tiefe gehend.

Es ist nicht unbedingt mein Lieblingsthema, jedoch kann nicht ignoriert werden, dass Gevatter Tod von Zeit zu Zeit auch meine Wege kreuzt.
Mit Sicherheit keine Community für einen "everyday post" ;-) Wer auch immer das Bedürfnis hat einen liebevollen Nachruf zu schreiben hat nun einen guten Platz dafür, das war der Gedanke dahinter.

Eine sehr schöne Idee. Ich erinnere mich gerne an meine verstorbenen Lieben zurück und manchmal fallen mir dabei Dinge aus der Vergangenheit ein, an die ich ewig nicht mehr gedacht habe.
Erinnerungen an Verstorbene können dahingehend sehr heilsam sein und das Teilen dieser Gedanken find ich positiv.
Wenn es in Ordnung ist auch ohne Fotos zu posten, werde ich diese Community von Zeit zu Zeit ganz bestimmt nutzen.

Hi, @beeber. I wouldn't have thought of something like this, but now reading you, it seems like a great idea. Writing about our losses can sometimes be a cure for our wounded soul or at least a small band-aid that relieves some of the sadness. I don't have any suggestions at the moment, but if I think of any, I'll post them here. 🤗

Firstly... thank you for including my community TAG in your post. I think this is a wonderful community creation. This is a most beautiful tribute to those lost from here, but I am somewhat unclear, is this to include people as well as pets or is this pets only?
Also, I might recommend that you get with a Spanish speaker and offer up a Spanish translation as there are a vast amount of Hiveans who are Spanish speaking.
