Today I thought...
Today I saw a person treat someone else with contempt, a lack of respect and in a manner which was quite hurtful; I'd certainly feel hurt had someone treated me in that way and even though I don't know the context it was a terrible moment, ugly, and an example of a human being demonstrating the worst side of themselves and I don't think there was any winners.
We live in a world that, even though we have a digital connection that spans the globe, I believe is moving is the wrong direction and in which communication is suffering.
Today I thought...what if from this very moment every human on the planet began to treat each other with care, kindness and courtesy. What if people applied understanding, generosity and a sense of nurturing to those they met...Today I thought that should people do that, and expect nothing in return while doing it, the world would be a better place.
It's behaviours like I witnessed today that make me feel out of place in society but that's no way to live, the world is a wondrous place and we should be able to experience and enjoy it without the ugliness that some people bring to it.
Undoubtedly, if that were to happen, the world would be different, there would be no wars, no hatred, it would be a different world. Maybe it is in the nature of the human being to be like that with those ugly things... I also often feel that I don't fit in this world.

There's so many nice people, kind and courteous, but there's so many that are not and it seems often that bad outweighs the good.

I am gathering that this was a somewhat tramatic thing? I do hope the person will see the error of their way, change, and apologize to the person they did this to.
It was traumatic for the person at the receiving end of the behavior and quite unsettling for those who had to witness it also; I don't think there'll be an apology though, I actually hope the poor soul never sees that person again.

That is to bad that everyone had to experience such ugly behavior. Maybe down the road the person will own their behavior and do what is right. Who knows.
I hope they come to a realization someday, or maybe how they treated others will come back on them with a vengeance. (Karma)

If everyone treats each other with kindness and love that means everything will be alright, but the rate of hatred is getting Soo extreme.
I agree, and wonder why society seems intent upon descending into such a state of being.

It's sad that you had to see that, but it's unfortunate that a lot of it is caused by the person's upbringing. That is what they grew up in, or the norm in their environment, so they end up doing the same. People need to actively try to be better to stop this cycle.
I agree that upbringing has a lot to do with this sort of behavior but there's other factors also; I also think that a person has the ability to break out of that conditioning and be a better version of themselves.
