I understand in a bid to earn more for a living in combination with sky rocketing prices of goods and services we seek to work more especially for those with families or children to cater for their needs.

But here are some useful guidelines I found very important for workers.

Do not over stress yourself over a job

If you are working 6am to 6pm which is 12 hours job then you need to create sometime for your rest. If such job doesn’t give you days of leave, please it is advisable to search for another because you are over working yourself and it will come to a point in time where the body will break down.

Except if the pay is good and you are been given days off, else quit.

Example of this type of job is factory worker. I read a story of someone whom was a factory worker and never had the time for rest even when she was ill she was compelled by her boss to be at work. But she lost her life in the process.

Save some cash

I understand we all have responsibilities to cater for but do not spend everything you earn. In some parts of Nigeria, someone might be working for NGN50,000 per month and can even squander the money even in 30 minutes especially if such got multiple responsibilities.
But try saving as little as you can, you may need the money to get yourself into a new job or to solve an emergency issue.

Invest

This is very important because without saving you can’t invest. I will tell you the principle of money. money has a strong influence, its either you build it up or it diminishes by itself even without you been aware

A little issue might just happen that requires you to spend compulsorily which you must spend. Whilst you are saving, you can pick an area of investment. Crypto investment is a good business if you have a right tutor on it but do not put all of your investment in crypto it’s a game of 50/50.

Care about your health

You might be wondering if this point correlates with the title, yes it does because if you don’t care about your health, how will you be able to work? If you have any health issue please do not manage it, health is wealth and you must be concerned about your health.
