I cried a lot reading your post. I was also thinking of my own Dawggy companion @flamistan (second pic :)

Aww @flamistan is adorable! Shepherd or something else?
I didn’t mean to make you cry, but I have been told many many times that the way I weave my words is very impactful.
Now that I am almost post 24 hours of trying to hold her and console 4 children and myself, I know there are things I forgot to add that I will do as a supplement piece. There is a lot more meat than potatoes in this story.
Thank you again for your help. Like I said, anything at all helps. So thank you for being a good huymin or hooman as I believe Princess would spell it. God bless. βœ¨πŸ’–πŸπŸ™πŸ’«

Hey yeah, Flame's dad is half German Shepherd (dunno the other half) and her mum is half Belgian Shepherd and half Collie - nicely spotted :D.

the way I weave my words is very impactful.

Right on sister, I could feel those feelings of loss your words expressed. Tough on you and the kids!

Flame keeps telling me that Dawgs perceive life and death differently from most humans and that they are always around - that we can still feel their energy even after they are 'gone'.

That’s awesome! I love shepherds. We had several growing up and my parents have 2 currently. Great and amazing dogs. ☺️
