Real Madrid Wants to Finish All of Matches by Targeting Become Group Winners
Real Madrid continues to reach for hope of being able to perform at their best in the UEFA Champions League. The 3-0 win over Moldova club, Sheriff Tiraspol was enough to bring El Real going through to the round of 16.
In the match which was held at the Bolshaya Sportivnaya Arena, Real Madrid attacked quite aggressively. They even led the first half with a score of 2-0. Each goal was scored by David Alaba (30') and 15 minutes before the end of the first half the goal was scored by German midfielder, Toni Kroos (45+1). While in the second half, Real Madrid managed to increase their advantage through Karim Benzema (55'). Carlo Ancelotti is quite satisfied with the appearance of his squad in this match.
Even though he was satisfied because Real Madrid won, Carlo Ancelotti emphasized that his team must continue to achieve the best results. They are targeting to become champions of group B in the next match.
Toni Kroos also stated that he didn’t expect to score but still feels happy to have scored in this match and can take the team to a better level. Even so, the results for the team should take precedence over personal goals.
To reach become group B winners, in the next match they must be able to stop Inter Milan. Even though Real Madrid have a 2 point advantage over Inter Milan in the standings, they must be vigilant because anything can still happen (note: Real Madrid has 12 points, while Inter Milan have 10 points). So, this match will determine the status of group winners on December 8th.
