Things I know.
No matter how little you are or how new you are to something, there's still something you know and don't know. I am sure I have not met anyone in my circle who doesn't have something to give, an experience, a lesson, lecture or other things to motivate or inspire me.
This is why no one is useless. Looking down on people because you are in a bigger place and to you, you believe there's nothing you can learn from them is not the right way to go (just my thought). The person who you believe can't help in what you believe is meant for the bigger guys to know may just be the right plug you need to move forward.
Many scenarios have played among people I know regarding this and their testimonies on how this person or that person helped them get to the place they never thought they could have been inspiring and motivating.
One of the scenarios that played out that I'll be sharing happened in higher institutions. I remember walking with a classmate of mine to a canteen when a friend of hers called her name. Apparently, she was in my department too, but I am someone who doesn't talk to people much unless when giving an exam lecture a few days before the exam.
We were waiting for our lecturer at the department when we got the news that he wasn't coming so we all had to disperse which prompted me and my classmate to walk to the canteen to buy snacks to eat before heading to the last class for the day.
Immediately the girl met us and we moved together just a little bit. We met a guy from our department whom my classmate knew too and she greeted him. He asked if we were getting food, but my classmate replied that we'd be going for a snack, and the guy offered to come with us.
Well, it turns out the lady who had called my classmate earlier decided to leave us because to her, she knows guys like that who are beggars and she has nothing to offer him. My classmate told me what the lady said, and I just smiled. I told her I didn't mind sharing with him, though, and she said she told her the same of which she scoffed and left.
As fate would have it, we found ourselves at a restaurant with a plate of fried rice, salad, chicken, and drinks to go. The guy had got it for us, paid and left. I don't know if he heard us or not. But he did what he did, and I later found out that the guy is a rich buddy, but you'd never see him wear flashy clothes.
"I know this thing a lot." This statement has pushed some people from the list of people who genuinely wanted to help them. Belittling people won't do you any good. There are things I know that I still listen to attentively to whenever people speak about them. That's my way of growing, and with that, I have more knowledge about the concept and can have a wide range of discussions pertaining to it if I am asked. Humility won't kill you, but without it, you can be humiliated.
So yeah, because today is #threetunestuesday by @ablaze I welcome you in with some cool tunes from "Runtown". I made use of his tunes last week as I gave more information about him here and today, I have brought more and I hope you enjoy them.
