The Aftermath of Adenine's Travel.

With a deep silent sigh, Adenine closed the mouth of the trembling lady beside her. Although she could hear the growling sound getting closer and closer, she couldn't help but calm her racing heart and prepare to launch an attack on the vile creature, and she needed no distraction.

Noticing the lady beside her has calmed down, Adenine spoke in a hush tone.

"When I say run, make sure you run as fast as you can and don't trip." Adenine told the lady before moving out when she noticed the creature had gotten closer.

"Grrrhhh" The creature's voice echoed around the cave they were stuck in.

"Now, run!" Adenine screamed before attacking the creature.

Like a ballet dancer, she moved her feet up and sliced the creature's knee. A deep groan resounded from the creature's lips as it flung her across the right side of the cave. With her feet up as fast as a thunder, Adenine launched an attack again, hitting the creature on its jaw with the kitchen knife she had held before...

The wave of the blow she missed from the creature pushed her backwards, but Adenine took her stance and attacked immediately, cutting the creature in half. Blue blood gushed out, splattering over her.

"Yuck!" She sputtered out before running out of the cave.

Before her feet could touch the sand outside the cave, she felt a touch on her as the hair on her body rose up to attack, but she stopped in her tracks when she realized who had held her.

"I almost stabbed you!" Adenine yelled at the lady she had saved earlier.

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to." The lady responded with teary eyes.

"You should be..."

Adenine didn't finish her statement when a growl was heard with heavy feet coming towards them. Adenine turned around, holding the lady's hand to leave the cave, but a huge force pushed them back.

The growl got closer, and two ferocious creatures emerged from the cave with blazing eyes. Adenine pushed the lady back and stood tall, watching the creature's movement as a predator would. She flexed her hands and held tightly on the kitchen knife with a deep frown. She was exhausted, but she won't go down without a fight. Twisting her feet around, she lunged for one of the creatures' throats, catching it off guard. The other creature pierced her skin, and a loud scream emerged from her lips.

With one hand and foot on the ground and the other in the air, she changed her position swiftly by putting both hands down as both feet were up before flying high.

She ran off to the right opening side by the cave, and the creature followed. Running towards a wall, she let her feet do the job, raising her body high enough before smashing the creature into the wall and piercing its heart.

Panting heavily, she ran towards where the lady she had helped was and found a creature almost launching at her. Adenine twisted her body and stood in between them before using her elbow to knock the creature backward.

Her eyes were everywhere in a calculative manner, looking for ways to attack the creature at once and tend to her wound.

As the creature moved its feet to attack her, Adenine found a closure, a weak point in the creature's abdomen, sliding her body downwards, she twisted the knife she held upward and with her back down, she attacked the creature as fast as she could.

The creature fell on her, and Adenine pushed it off, panting heavily before standing up. She touched her shoulder blade and pressed deeply on it to stop the blood flow. The portal should have opened to another dimension now, she mumbled.

Holding on to the lady's hands, Adenine touched outside of the cave, noticing that her hands pierced in. She pushed the lady in before following suit.

"Phew! That was a hell of a game, I love the ways you move your body." Adenine's brother Joseph said, patting Adenine on her shoulder.

Smiling ear to ear, Adenine answered, "Well, I am getting better at it, and I was able to save the lady, which means my mission was a success. I can now move towards another dimension in the game. I hope it won't be a cave this time around."

"But, why did you have to choose a kitchen knife as a weapon? You are very crazy, you know." Joseph said, laughing hysterically.

"I am not like you who always look for either a big gun or bomb. You know throwing off a bomb in the cave would blow me and the lady up. Using a handy tool like the kitchen knife to play the Time travel is better. I plan on using the sword for another dimension. It is a crazy level, and I can't wait to get there." Adenine replied with a smile.

"I wish you the best, sister, you... wait, did you put something on gas?" Joseph asked his sister with a frown.

With her eyes opened wide, Adenine ran towards the kitchen to see smoke all around. She hurriedly covered her nose and switched off the gas before running out, panting very hard.

Just then, the horn of a car was heard, and Joseph looked toward his sister with a sad smile.

"Mom and Dad are back, Adenine, you are dead meat. You better get yourself ready for another time travel." He said with a crazy smile.
