Hello music lovers.

Happy beautiful Sunday to you all, I hope you are all well and ready for Monday. Oh, work... that's what Monday says, so let's make our Sunday a music day with our Music Spotlight Artiste, Asa, which means Vulture in Yoruba language.

Let's Get To Know Who Our Vulture Is

Welcome onboard to meet our favorite African Nigerian artiste, Asa, whose name is Bukola Elemide. Her journey began on September 17th, 1982, when she was brought to earth by her mother.

Asa was born in Paris to her Nigerian parents, and her family returned to live in Nigeria when she was two years old. And they hail from Itoku, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Bukola Elemide (Asa) grew up in Lagos, in the southwestern part of Nigeria, and 18 years later, returned to Paris, where her life as an artist took off.

She has sung lots of music that keeps everyone on their toes, and you will be amazed too. When you listen to some of her tunes you will love her. But, let's start with her tunes which I chose to make our Sunday blissful.

Let's start with, "Preacher Man," then we can move to rest. Enjoy the music videos.

Preacher Man;Asa.

Here we have Asa in Paris as she is to sing the preacher man to the crowd.

This music's lyrics are just perfect, and I am sure you will enjoy every rhythm. I hope you are at home and in a quiet place with your headphones.

Be My Man; Asa.

So how about you be her man and watch her become your woman?

Get your body to gyrate and never stop the music juices that want to merge with you.

Satan Be Gone; Asa.

I guess we are going with the black dress today. Let's be unique. And enjoy the flow of the music.

Part of the music is sung in Yoruba, and it is a prayer. It is like asking people who do not wish you well to be gone, especially those who smile at you and act friendly.

Ba Mi Dele; Asa.

Now, I am emotional listening to this. The lyrics are sung in Yoruba, and it is beautiful. I love the instruments in the background.

It gives the vibes and lets the emotion out. Ba Mi Dele means Follow me home. The music video is just superb and real.

Dead Again; Asa.

Can you feel the rhythm going deeply into your heart? The rhymes and everything that surrounds it feel right.

This music is about betrayal and... we've all faced that in life, and we know how hurtful it is. Especially when it is done to us by the people who we love and trust.

That's all for Sunday's tune. This is my first time trying this out apart from 3 tunes, and I hope I did well with it. Let's see how this goes as It will determine what next Sunday will bring.

Thanks for reading and listening.

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
