a BEAUTY and a BEAST

On an island in the Kingdom of Siam was a peaceful garden. This garden, which the owner took great care of, was filled with beautiful flowers from the Kingdom as orchids, lotus flowers...

One of them, a delicate lotus flower liked to open slowly in the softness of the morning dew.

One morning, when she had opened up completely, she noticed that something was moving in the bush.

It was then that she saw two green eyes with a small black dot looking at her and she heard a little high-pitched voice.

Hello madam lotus flower, my name is Takataen Tam Khaw and I'm a mantis. I was taking a leisurely stroll in the area when this garden caught my eye, I couldn't help but enter it, a splendid beauty residing there.

You are really lucky to live in such a beautiful place that totally pays tribute to your beauty, moreover this place seems really peaceful and welcoming to meditation.

The Lotus flower, delighted to have a new visitor, answered him.

Oh how right you are, from my little pond every morning when I open up I can't help but think how lucky I am to live in this place. But how rude I am 555, I did not even introduce myself, my name is Dok Bua.

I am glad to meet you, Dok Bua, do you think the owner of this wonderful place would let me stay there for a while?

Of course, Takataen Tam Khaw, everyone is welcome here, be it birds, cats, lizards, butterflies, many animals come to spend a moment here to relax from the busy life.

บนเกาะแห่งหนึ่งในอาณาจักรสยามมีสวนอันเงียบสงบ สวนแห่งนี้ซึ่งเจ้าของดูแลเป็นอย่างดี อาณาจักรเต็มไปด้วยดอกไม้นานาพันธุ์ อย่างกล้วยไม้ และดอกบัว

หนึ่งในนั้นคือดอกบัวที่มีกลีบละเอียดอ่อน บอบบาง คลี่กลีบบางช้าๆ เพื่อต้อนรับน้ำค้างยามเช้า

เช้าวันหนึ่ง เมื่อเธอบานเต็มที่รับแสงอรุณ เธอสังเกตเห็นว่ามีบางอย่างเคลื่อนไหวอยู่ในพุ่มดอกไม้

ในตอนนั้นเองที่เธอเห็นดวงตาสีเขียวสองดวงที่มีจุดสีดำเล็กๆ มองมาที่เธอ และเธอก็ได้ยินเสียงสูงเล็กน้อย

สวัสดีคุณดอกบัว ฉันชื่อ ตั๊กแตนตำข้าว และฉันเป็นตั๊กแตนตำข้าว ฉันกำลังเดินเล่นสบายๆ ชิลล์ๆ อยู่ในบริเวณนี้ สวนแห่งนี้มันช่างดึงดูดสายตาเสียเหลือเงิน ฉันอดไม่ได้ที่จะเข้ามาข้างใน เพื่อชมความงามอันวิจิตรงดงามของอาณาจักรแห่งนี้

เธอช่างโชคดีจริงๆ เลยนะดอกบัว ที่ได้อยู่ในอาณาจักรอันงดงามเยี่ยงนี้ ซึ่งเป็นอาณาจักรที่ดูสงบสุขเงียบ และเป็นมิตรกับเหล่าบรรดาสัตว์ทั้งหลาย

ดอกบัวยินดีที่มีแขกมาเยี่ยมที่อาณาจักรแห่งนี้ และตอบกลับไปว่า

โอ้ เธอคิดถูกแล้วหล่ะ ในทุกๆ เช้าที่ฉันตื่นขึ้นมาในสระเล็กๆ แต่สวยงามของฉัน ฉันอดคิดไม่ได้ว่าฉันโชคดีเพียงใดที่ได้อยู่ที่นี่ แต่มันจะดูหยาบคายไปสักหน่อยถ้าฉันไม่แนะตำเอง 555 ฉันมีนามว่าดอกบัว

กล้วยไม้หนุ่มที่นิ่งเงียบฟังการสนทนาระหว่างดอกบัว และเจ้าตั๊กแตนตำข้าว ก็พูดขึ้นมาพร้อมกับดอกบัวว่ายินดีต้อนรับ ตั๊กแตนตำข้าว สู่อาณาจักรสยามแห่งนี้
